A decent Basil thread: What crazy things did you think when you were a child?

Anyway, when I was a child, I liked Pokemon. Oh wait.....

-When i was a young i used to think every1 had an "aura". My definition of aura back then was like something unique each person have that cant be changed no matter how much u try. For example, in high school i used to be above avg with my grades but i was never the best. I didnt study at all, sometimes i didnt take notes so it didnt bother me much till i started to study, but same results, good grades but never the best. I ddint have problems with math, i always thought everything was common sense.., but in other courses where u need to memorize stuffs so u have to study... i'd never fail them, even if i needed a perfect grade on the final test or w/e, i'd always get it, trying or not. So i thought my "aura" = i'd never fail, i'd always be above avg without even trying but never the best and i cant change this. So far, its the same thing on college.. lol.
-I used to believe ghosts exist so i was afraid of dark places, and still am sometimes but i dont go running upstairs now if i think a ghost is behind me.
-I thought if i really focused i could blow up stuffs using my brain, then i realized life wasnt that interesting.
-I used to watch the sun and the sky at night a lot for some reason, but everytime i thought about being in the space it felt weird and sorta scary.
-I used to have nightmares, like 4 every night so i stopped sleeping for weeks. I thought they would go away like that but they ddint. After a while, i decided to do something. Whenever i had a nightmare i'd stay quiet and calm till it was over no matter how scary they were. It worked and after a while i stopped having them.
-I thought being a doctor would be cool till i realized there are a lot of people that should die.

When I was really young, I used to think that the your age was your height in feet. Yes, I used to think my grandparents were as tall as a palm tree. Don't ask me why.

-6 year old: When I asked my mom how i was born, she told me 1 day she wants to have a child, then I was born. I never questioned the way that I was born, but I kept on questioning why I exist since that age.
-7 year old: By now I had so many different answers of why I exist, and I believed this til I become 12: there's 4 powers, blue, green, yellow, red in this world, and I can control the green power. (cause I made the grass move when i told it too, probably cause of wind)
-8 year old: I started thinking about my carriers, I was really good at math, that my parents suggested me to be a mathematician, but I was like no, mathematician don't earn money, I want to be bus driver (cause $2*~500 ppl that's going to be riding the bus =$1000 per day)
-9 year old: I believe that my math teacher was actually my grandmother in disguise, spying on what I'm doing in school.
-10 year old: I moved to Canada (I was in China before) I was afraid of black ppl for about 1 year, and never dare to approach them, because of all the rumors around them.
-11 year old: I constantly got into fights when I realized Canadian kids are much weaker than Chinese kids. (In my school in china, there was also Kung Fu class, which 1/4 of the students were enrolled in, I wasn't)
-12 year old: I was not afraid of ghost before this age, I became afraid after all the ghost/wierd stories I heard, I started to be afraid of dark, I'm still afraid of dark now, though not to the extent that I'll freak out and run when I feel someone's behind me.
-13 year old: White stuff came out of my penis when I do something that makes me feel good, I was kind of scared, and thought I wasn't human, and kept this secret from my parents when 1 year later I learned about musturbation.
-14 year old: I begin to hate China after reading all the news, but by the time I was 16, I realized all the news are made of lies.
-15 year old: I thought I know what love was, and went after this girl just because she's pretty. Apparently she's christian and will not go for relationships until after 18.
-16 year old: I got bullied by someone weaker than me, I was afraid to fight back, cause I've gotten into trouble fighting and almost got suspended, my parents almost killed me. In the end one day I can't take it anymore and just beat the pomegranate out of him and did not get in trouble.
-17 year old: I was obessed with maplestory
