Yes, this is similar to the thread Currently Airing Anime, but this is for manga series. I have to say, I am a major fan of "Watashi ni xx Shinasai", Yukina is just one of the most interesting female characters I've seen, ever. In my entire life, never have I seen a character that's so intelligent, cunning, and yet, so confused and lonely.
Watashi ni xx Shinasai (Volume 2, Chapter 9)
Spoiler
Just simply adorable.
Most shocking part in this chapter!!!
I was surprised her cousin confessed his love to her! I was like "OH DAMN", then I assumed Shigure would go back trying to win her over, of course. Oh, you, Shigure! Can't wait for next chapter!

I'm currently reading
A world God only knows
Mysterious Girlfriend X
Mahou Sensei Negima
Ane Doki
Kimi no Iru Machi
AIKI
Sora no Otoshimono
Dance in the Vampire Bund
Future Diary
I'm reading some other ones but I forget =D
The newest chapter of A world God only knows was pretty good (chapter 77) - God vs God =O, can't wait to see how this turns out
Bleach 390
Never before have I seen such a bad chapter of manga. Actually, I don't think "bad" even begins to describe how terrible this chapter was. It was atrocious. I think Tite Kubo is a chimpanzee.

Good man, I've been following that blog of yours; and I can't agree any more with your Bleach 390 post. Suprised you didn't do a rant on the infamous "The Heart" two-page panel when you did your 200th blog post and added a section on you marathoning through Bleach. Ugh, never again. Honestly, why do I even bother with this train wreck? I started with it when I was in middle school and when Hueco Mundo started coming out, although I was fairly young and around the target audience Kubo aimed for; honestly, even I could see how bad it was and how there was something horribly amiss. Why does this series even have fans, and hell: why is there even a debate to which is better of the unholy trinity of neverending shonen manga? Bleach shouldn't even be considered in the running against Naruto and One Piece; and even Naruto isn't that crappy even considering the crappy chapters where Masashi Kishimoto focuses entirely wristcutting emo in Sasuke, and well, One Piece is insanely good! Kubo, I noticed, has this weird obsession with striking readers with Bleach as "cool". There's gimmick for this and that, and there's "epic" two page panels litered everywhere to try to make things look cooler when they really have no meaning; but in reality, we're not that dumb and can see how it's absolute rubbish.
That being said, here's my personal list for manga being currently released:
-Mysterious Girlfriend X
-Mahou Sensei Negima
-One Piece
-Naruto
-Bleach
-Hayate no Gotoku
-Fullmetal Alchemist
-Watashi ni XX Shinasai!
-Soul Eater
-Kodomo no Jikan
-Franken Fran (except they won't damn update this.)
-REC
Hm, Khoi, I've already somewhat showed my love for Watashi ni XX Shinasai! on your visitor messages. I just saw an update for it on OneManga some time ago, and thought it sounded familiar and decided to check it out. I recognized what it was, and I trusted your word on this; and came out absolutely loving this. Yukina is a pretty damn awesome heroine for a shoujo manga: unlike most wimpy shoujo heroines who think only of love, the first thing that comes to mind is that she comes off as strong as the heroine of the manga and pretty strong-willed as a person versus a lot of shoujo heroines. This is something that's hardly been done; and that's something very nice about this manga: a great protagonist. The next thing you notice is her obvious intelligence and cunning; and yet under her cold and somewhat calculating exterior, she's confused and lonely. Definitely a well-written protagonist.
Goddammit pufu. Using those goddamn little bugs to control palm? Even if she is pretty crazy anyway. Killua is back though, and we finally get to see what pufu can really do in battle. Hopefully whats his face doesn't get his ass kicked again. >_>

Yeah, that's why I enjoyed reading it. It's sorta girly, but truth be told, Yukina is very interesting. The more I read on, the more cunning she seems to be. She's extremely cold, but she's such a sweetie on the inside. ;~; Yes, she is an awesome protagonist, it makes me want to cheer her on. The bad thing is, she isn't looking for love. She is doing this only to finish her 'story', yet she is sorta falling in love for Shigure. I love this manga. ;~;

Thanks, and sorry! I haven't followed Bleach for that long, so I have no idea what that "The Heart" spread is.
Kubo has the great and terrible power to make the dumbest, most nonsensical things look "cool." Even his own picture reflects that...
Mysterious Girlfriend X chp 42- WOW was not expecting that ending. I wonder what Urabe is going to say when she finds out how Tsubaki reacted to tasting Momoka's drool
HIGURASHI NO NAKU KORO NI
It's pretty disturbing I'll give it that. Does anyone know if the third question arc, Tatarigoroshi, is fully translated? The most I could find was 7/12 D:
Inb4nextchapterwhereitturnsoutAizenisreallyalive. Calling it now. Also, what the hell is Gin doing? Possibly waiting for them to kill off Aizen to reveal he is the real ultimate villain of Bleach? Going to get a good laugh out of the day that happens. But man- "OH SHI---" was an epic panel.
Otaku no Musume-san 45
I might drop this manga. I'm getting annoyed at how blatant the drama is. Suddenly, this happens! And then this! And then flashback! And then this!
I can't picture this going back to the slightly dramatic comedy it once was...
Fullmetal Alchemist 104: HOLY FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKK. Shit just got real. What an insane, epic, and awesome chapter.
Spoiler
Seriously phenomenal stuff. Greed shows up, and in the end, even with Greed; the four of them are totally defeated by Father; who then annihilates the entire country with Neon Genesis Evangelion level epic material. I couldn't help but be reminded of Instrumentality and stuff like that from Eva. And oh man: Father emerging out and then taking in God was totally epic. An assload of plot twists, and the bad guy's plan going perfectly. Awesome.
A few comments:
REALLY NOW? God looks like the youthful Hohenheim from when he was Slave 23?
Meanwhile, I'm sure everyone can see this coming from miles away, but it's easy to say that none of the characters who were taken into Father for being able to absorb God are totally down for the count as dead. I'm sure it's something along the lines of their souls all just returning to their bodies. I doubt Arakawa would want all of these characters dead; the fanbase would throw an absolute fit if just about everyone ended dying. Not to mention, Fullmetal Alchemist's ending would be lame if it weren't happy at all.
Minor comment here: when Pride brings up Ed being short, I'm glad it didn't erupt into a crappy non-comedy comedy relief scene about LOL"Ed is short"; because this chapter wouldn't have turned out as great.
If none of you guys have, try reading Onidere. I thought it's pretty funny. It's about a guy and a girl goin out, but the girl is the strongest person in school and the leader of a gang. So, she doesn't want to let anyone know that she's going out with this guy (because he's kind of a weak nerdy guy, even though she doesn't see him that way). So, they try to date but without letting anyone know.
