programs to alter keyboard input
#1
are there any programs out there that can alter the keypresses on my keyboard to work similar to the joy2key's (and other programs) turbo buttons?

I want to be able to hold down a key (in this case my attack key) and maple to recognize it at multiple presses of the key so as to save my finger from breaking everytime i play my aran, also want to be able to turn it on and off for chatting and such

If i can alter the repetition speed for said key (as in being able for it to be pressed every .5 seconds or .3 seconds) while i'm holding the key down that would be great

if this is considered hacking then admin prease remove though as its openly discussed/promoted when using a controller I figure its free game.

registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard

KeyboardDelay = 0
KeyboardSpeed = 31

that's the fastest it'll go.

i'm looking for something that i can turn on and off by hitting a key like f10 or something like that
and doesn't that just change the repeating of the key, like when you hold it down how fast it types this "hhhhhhhhhhhh"? (<yes it does, doesn't do what i want if someone was interested)
i need something like the turbo feature of joy2key that registers a keyup keydown rapidly, cause i don't jsut want to attack, i want to trigger the combo without having to mash my keys...

Nothing that I know allows that easy a turn on/off option. Why not just add the skill to an unused key, or even your attack key instead?

Modifying a key to a certain speed/changing what that key does (making the Z button create the character T for example) requires a reboot of the system before it can take effect, so an on/off turbo button isn't really possible.

My keyboard does that. I have G4 set to send "a" 3 times really fast, in toggle mode. I hold it down on an Aran just like I would have were it a Fighter or something.

That might be easier than a program.

I have programs in mind, but Maple blocks all of them.
Get a programmable keyboard, they're not that expensive. I have a Razor that works pretty well and gives you a lot of options when programming keys.

though the program is basic and takes a bit of getting used/figuring out how to work around the limits, turbo pad on download.com works just how i wanted, set my attack key to itself and turbo, now i just hit f12 and my attack key becomes turbo style, ie you hold down attack and it triggers the combo for an aran, does make it slightly harder/easier to trigger the combo moves like smash and drain but as i get used to not smashing my attack key i think i'll get used to the timeing
