Which type of style do you guys prefer? & I also won't be able to get these done until next week.

The two styles are just different...
The left is soft the right is hard- at least to me.
I think it also depends on the MS-character-
If I were you I'd play with it a bit and use the more fun one!
Also can I get some hot SLIME-KinG being worshiped by random Maplers action?
