Are you talking about ice splitter and flamethrower? they seem to be awefully slow to me, am i missing something here? it can't be 540ms per cast. Torpedo seem to be casting at a better speed than ice splitter or flamethrower for me.

4528 was highest for me on ice/lightning arch mage.
32xx on BM, maybe i'll try again with the puppet trick on the yeti.
35xx on corsair with torpedo lol, crazy speed with -4 booster.

I love the Blizzard speed on my AM with the -4 booster too xD

If you macro/alternate between the two, they're actually quite fast. However, simply spamming Ice Splitter alone (or Flamethrower) is slow.

My score should speak for itself. Next goal: Beat Rei's score (haven't tried yet).

Thanks, I figured it out right after I posted here lol. Sadly I left flamethrower at level 2 so it only hits 2 monsters. Seems like you can alternate between ice spitter and torpedo aswell, but you have to be on ship for that which means you can't move around fast enough.

Full Swing Double has two hits, so I can build Combo Smash in fewer attacks. That's the only possible way I can see myself improving my score in the near future, outside of just getting a lot more HP/Defense, and Speed gear. Though I am helmed now.

Stance isn't in my reasonably near future.

I can't find my SS anywhere, but my best was 3.6k on my BM with maybe 9 misses or so. Phoenix really helps in here. I never use my pyramid power before Stage 5, so I always have like 6 pyramids to use at the final stage.

The 9 misses was lucky, though, I usually get more than that. >_>

Look at his level 0.o

He's 48. He has to do it on a lower difficulty and he doesn't have full swing yet, so on a mob of 12 he would get in 12 less hits than someone who's level 70+. This means that his combo doesn't rack up as quickly as other aran's would.

Hence he can't combo smash as often.

Difference is you 'hit' the Jr Yetis and I try my best to avoid, which is why I assumed the scores had a massive gap. I'll just go nuts next time and see the difference, I've yet to spam attacks.

My point was that Shouri was misinformed that Arans needed to be on higher difficulties or have Full Swing to perform just as well as a 14x Bishop.

Is there actual evidence that higher difficulties have more monsters? I haven't really been paying attention to it (or playing at all, actually). When I do this, I usually have an anime open and watch that while I get 4500+ in my peripheral vision.

3k on Night Lord. I DARE YOU to do it better, it's pretty much easy, since I sometimes hit the same mob twice thanks to lag. Someone with less lag can do better.
