Rock Band 2 Instruments and Batteries

So I plan on buying the RB 2 bundle for PS3 and I heard it requires batteries.
I'm just wondering what would be the best batteries to buy for the guitar/drums based on your experience.

Look for rechargeable with high capacity (mAh), I know energizer's got some 2800 mAh ones, they'll last longer than say 2000 or 1800. Sometimes the cheaper batteries are the lower mAh ones.

Drums do not require batteries (edit: unless there's some wireless drumset I don't know about...) As for the guitar, really I think any AA battery will work just fine.

Also, depending on how much you're going to be playing the drums, you might want to look into getting some silencers for the pads and reinforcing the notoriously fragile foot pedals.

I think you're talking about Rock Band 1, IIRC, RB 2 has the wireless drums
