Why are Witch Belts still sooooooooo expensive?
#1
I mean, with the new Immortal Pharaoh's belt that came out, shouldn't the price of Witch belts drop? I see clean ones sold for 200M easily in Khaini....

I mean, are they that rare from the Pyramid PQ? I guess I only PQed a few times in hard mode, so I did not get any of the belts, but still, they should be a lot easier to get now for ppl since anyone can do the PQ.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

I don't see why people think Witch Belts will deflate. Well clean ones have deflated, but scrolled ones aren't going to go down anytime soon. Keep in mind that you need to use Chaos Scrolls in order to increase the ATK on pharaoh belts, which are 130m and only 60% success.

On average you get 1 Immortal Pharaoh Belt every 100 successfully completed Hell Mode PQs. That's more than 25 hours each. Then you need to find some chaos scrolls... which only work 60% as often as the Witch Belt scrolls. Then you need a Karma Scissor to make it tradeable...

It'll all take time.

like i said in sw.

1. it just came out
2. rare as hell
3. high demand for attack belts.

dont expect them to ever get cheaper.

As an added bonus, Witch Belts also have speed and jump.

If it makes you feel any happier to know that I fail, sure. I spent about ... 500m on 3 Chaos Scrolls combined, then about 200m on a clean Witch Belt. 700m. K? Passed 2, failed 1. Result? 2 attack. . . . . . .

Said to myself "Fuck that shit.", and bought myself a 6 attack belt for about 550m. How much mesos did I waste? 1.25b! Not fun. So now I'm near the point of poor again, and I'm slowly merchanting my ass. I could of course, hammer that 2 attack belt (twice), and then chaos it again (twice more), but then it could end up being 1 or 0 attack, and I'd waste more money and Mesos. -shrugs-

But yes, I predict Witch Belts won't be any cheaper in the forthcoming future. Not for a long time.

Really? 200m for a clean attack belt? In Scania too? Whoops. Sold mine for 100m based on prices pre-patch.

Yeah, in Scania. Might have been overpriced, but I saw ones for 250m.

In Windia i couldnt manage to sell my belts for 100mil each. And i also saw a store with 16 unsold belts for 70mil each. I guess i need to move to Scania then to sell them Rolleyes . Pineapple that.

Uh-uh! 60% that the Chaos Scroll does something. If that 60% passes, there's a 50% chance the scroll adds stats, 50% chance the scroll removes stats. So it becomes 30% chance for it to work positively, 30% chance for it to work negatively, and a 40% chance for it to do nothing at all.

....? Doesn't the chaos scroll have a 20% chance to blow up the item, though?

Nope. That was a glitch way back.
