Why Farah is better than Regal.

FFUUUUUU---

Regal can't do an ass-whoopin' like this!

Farah rocks, even in 3-D. And using Mirage to avoid is just genius.

Dood, you gotta understand regal, he's constantly getting engulfed by that ominous light game after game, of course he can't train his skills :<

And IIRC that peach is the same one as the exhibition match in ToS? god if so i hate her...

Yes. But Farah was significantly toned down in ToS. <___< I wanted a serious challenge when I played in Mania. DID. NOT. GET. She had Maximum-Burst in ToS, but when she used it, it was just called Beast, so I was a bit annoyed. Not only that, but her triple Beast attack was.. awkward. lol... And yes, that was Farah in the Coliseum in ToS cameo.

Not even a fair fight, the guy with the sword just stands there, dashes and slashes once.

You realise that's what Mirage was intended for right?

Where's yousourakubakushuu?!? That sole reason alone made her better than Regal. Regal's Air->Ground were all pomegranate. Sankamoushuukyaku is pomegranate comparatively, I don't know why he uses it instead.

They must have changed some of the fighter mechanics, or this guy has terrible control, because he keeps using garyuu kuuha -> hienrentenkyaku

And yes, the opponent AI appears to be retarded. Not enough good solo battles in Tales. Hardest I've ever had was Veigue in Graces, and that was because of the massive amount of damage he does. He still doesn't do too many high combos, four hits at most (though six hits would instantly kill me at the level I tried, maybe even four depending on the attack he uses)

Thing was, in 2d Tales, Mirage was incredibly hard to use, not to say it was not useable at all. But it was incredibly hard to use unless you're evading Dhaos Laser, for example

Could be level, or not enough xxx amount of skills used to learn it. That's what I'm wondering. I've seen some really nice Farah combos done in Eternia, solo-ones that goes up to 130+ hits

Thing about Garyuu Kuuha is that in RM2, it has.. absolutely no delay? Where as in Eternia, there was a small delay / charge-up time before she used it. Which, I can see why he would use it, but after Farah rises up, it's really hard to combo unless you use Eagle Rage or some form of aerial-kicks2ground. I used Death Blossom here and there in ToE, but I usually chain it with Eagle Rage in one way or another.

That's why when I play Mania mode, I only use 1 character, let everyone else on my party die, and I attempt to take on the boss (or bosses) by myself. Fun sh't.
