I've done everything I could think of:
-Defragment
-Disk Cleanup
-Cleaned my registry a bit, and didn't touched stuff I wasn't knowledgeable in
-Changed my computer battery-settings to "Performance"
-Deleted a lot of files on my E: and D: drive that I didn't need
-Uninstalled a bunch of programs
And yet, I still lag on MapleStory. It's not your typical lag either. When I lag, every seconds or so, it's like.. missing FRAMES. I can hear the sounds, bgmusic, you name it. But if I'm on my NL, Bishop, Aran, whatever, and if I'm attacking, I'm missing frames, so it's hard to see what's happening at times. When this occurs, it happens for about anywhere from.. 30 seconds up to 2 mins or so. And it happens every 5 mins or so. It's very frustrating, and makes it incredibly hard to train or boss. I've played MS on my laptop before, and this never happened. Thinking about activating a back-up if nothing else works.
Specs for computer as well as information on my current Display Adaptor (and yes, I did checked, my display-adapter is updated):
Thanks if anybody can figure out a solution. I'll gladly show a list of my computer's current processes as well, if necessary.

Play around with the settings, try increasing the amount of RAM shared with the video card to as much as you can. Not sure if you would have a "Nvidia control panel" of sorts.

Have you tried playing Maplestory on low settings?
To be perfectly honest, that RAM looks rather low as well. Could be you're swapping memory (because your system begins to run itself out while you're playing). Also, 64 MB Video RAM is becoming sort of low-end nowadays. Most computers now have about 128MB+ or more.

I was thinking about that too, because I did notice my Adapter RAM is 64. Hmm... I'll have to see what I can do.

I don't believe this would fix your Frame lag, but you're still on Service Pack 1.. Vista released service pack 2 quite a while ago, keep your computer up to date or you'll just run into more problems, there is a slight possibility of that being a problem, although I highly doubt it, but it's still better to keep these things updated, also try downloading the latest drivers for your card at Nvidia.com, you could also try Gamebooster by IObit. It's a nice little program that shuts down processes in the background that aren't needed freeing up some physical memory.

Tried everything. Nothing worked. SP2 = same problem. But by doing a backup and turning off Windows Updates, the problem no longer occurs.

What do you mean by "doing a backup?" I have 64 MB Adapter RAM too and my computer is pretty similar to yours. I also experience frames lag for a few years now. Did you completely fix it?

Yes. The one I was speaking of was the one in which some frames would completely skip, and I'd hear sounds like "BRR ... BRRR BRRRR" when I tapped attack on my Aran. Yeah, you know, when everything slows down, and frames are missing, and the attack-animation effects sounds.. messed up? That.
I completely fixed it. I just used a back-up my father had on my laptop, which dated back to over 3 years ago when I first had my computer. So it restored it back to ALMOST brand-new factory default settings, except with programs/softwares that my father had on my laptop. Of course, I played MS. It was fine. After installing Windows Updates and letting EVERYTHING updates again, I noticed same problem.. which is why I then used system-restore to go back a couple days ago, before all of the updates. I disabled all of my windows-updates, and it's fine.
Vista 32-bit, btw.

I see. Yeah, for some reason, I noticed my NoCashGBA emulator, or any other emu started lagging too with Windows Updates. But if I disable all of the updates, emulators runs fine on this laptop. I assume it's internal-conflict, or the updates are preventing something. Either that OR the last possibility would be that Vista is taking up too much memory, which IS true, but I don't see how small ass updates could mess up my laptop that bad.
