I didn't ignore that fact, ya know?
I read what you wrote. I'm simply stating my reasoning for why someone can just skip putting SP into Dragon's Blood. This is what ran through my mind: An extra 37.5k mesos spent per hour compared to 20 skill points? Mesos can always be replacable; skill points can't. Yes I actually calculated mesos/hour for a buff potion. ./nerdiness
*I'm unfortunately the kind of guy who absolutely MUST min/max skill point usage. It's probably as powergaming as I get. Taking the game seriously is entirely different of course.
Is Dragon's Blood useful? Yes.
Is it useless because of Warrior Elixirs? No.
Is the skill replaceable by Warrior Elixirs? Yes.

I'm just gonna put my final arguement out there. Illegal, if you wanna take it further, I'd like to debate it with you via vistor messaging or PM. I'd rather not clog up this thread with our debates, shall we?
Final arguements
You could probably argue that those Dragon Blood's 20 points could be spent on....well Sacrifice (useless, but albiet useful in some ways) or PA Crusher. But seriously, those skills are not as useful as Dragon Blood.
Dragon Blood is basically the Dragon Knight/Dark Knight's form of the Crusader/Hero's Rage skill. In fact, it was probably the best attack buff for any 3rd job class in MS (and any jobs out in MS) at that time, until surpassed by 4th job atk buff skills (like Enrage and Concentration) and change of Rage's effects from +10 atk to +12 atk (when maxed).
Now look: Why sacrifice a buff that's given to you, why sacrifice a buff that's actually gives you good effects at a tiny cost, why sacrifice a buff that has no limitations (in terms of not having it run out at any time), unlike War Elixirs, which has to be restocked from time to time?
I can see your arguement about how tiny the cost of using War Elixirs in terms of every hour.
BUT............
For people that are short on $, that skill can pretty much help them out. I know that Stereo's not one of those, but just to point it out, it can save some good $ over a period of time. I can point out from personal experince that I'm one of those that was short on cash (last time I checked before I quit), and if I ever came back, I would try to level as fast as I can so I can get that skill and not have to use Warrior Elixirs regularly, (maybe keep a few War Elixirs handy for certain bosses) therefore saving myself a bit of $.
In conclusion.....
Cost of using Dragon Blood and occasionally using War Elixirs in bosses (when necessary) is much cheaper than using war elixirs every single freaking time, during training and bossing.
My earring and rat face are on my Brawler right now, I just wanted to flaunt 130% base speed... (they add 13 dex 1 acc, not a big deal)
Next step is to scroll this top, or one very much like it. Are there 60% top str scrolls at all =x
I'm also thinking of hammer+100%ing one of my BWs... I have a 115/12 Morningstar and the 123/7 Dragon Flame. I'd much rather spend the cash on a new weapon than on hammers, but I have had zero luck finding anything better in the FM.
