What happened to APQ? Every time i got there, 90% of the time its completely empty. I check reguarly from 10 am - 12 pm PST and its completely empty. =/
For the month or two, its been like this. I'd be lucky enough to even get to APQ once a week.
So my question is: is there some kind of problem with APQ itself; like some glitch or something? Why is it so empty?
I mean you get apples from it, so why wouldn't anyone want to pq for them?

My main problem with it is that is fairly inaccessible. I'm rarely ever on Victoria and yeah. Not worth the trip unless it's pre-planned.

Not sure if its the same in bello, but in mardia the main place to find apq parties is in henny right near marketplace entrance. As said above though, since im rarely in vic, i don't usually feel like taking the time to go to vic and find a apq party

@ above 2 posts: If you're not in vic you're probably in leafre or ToT, in which case it's just a simple seed away...
@ OT: More people are realizing that APQ is a waste of time compared to hunting for time pieces if you can do it. Apples are fairly rare, and can't compare to PoT money gain.
If nexon upped the drop rate on apples or made it one PQ per 3 hours i'm sure people would APQ all day. Once a day is retarded considering the only good thing in bonus is apples and (i guess) diamonds.

And this is the reason that Onyx Apples have inflated in every server. People have started relying on PoT for money instead of apples, so they have become rare, causing everyone to want them. I'd suggest you just ask friends.

Princessfp is always in Vic, you're just too lazy to find an APQ party.
I still APQ when I find the time, and when I actually get on my Priest.

Time spent finding an acceptable party and doing the PQ is not worth the ~50% chance of getting a single apple in bonus to me any more.
It may be just a seed away, but you still need to hit more than a dozen points to get there.
- Nearest Town to the map with the old dude in it (10s)
- Run to the map where you turn into a dragon, fly downward full speed. (1min)
- Nearest Town into Leafre (or just run 1 map over) (30s)
- Run out of Leafre 2-3 maps (1min)
- Nearest town to Ellinia (10s)
- Get to the Taxi, go to Henesys (30s)
- Warp to Amoria, after running halfway across the widest town in the game (1min)
- Run another few maps out to the APQ (2min)
(do the APQ)
- Run back to Amoria (2min)
- Warp to Henesys (10s)
- Run halfway across the widest town in the game, again, to get to the taxi (1min)
- Run up to the portal to Leafre (1min)
- Another Nearest Town scroll (10s)
- Fly back to Temple of Time (1min 30)
- Run through about 30 ToT maps (6-8min)
- start training again.
Adds up to about 20 minutes just getting to the PQ and back. Throw in a 10 minute PQ (on the fast side, I've had them take 40+min), half an hour finding 6 people who won't screw it up... and that's an hour for a 50% chance at one apple. Family warps can speed the process in one direction, but you only get one a day.
It is better than for other areas (I think El Nath or Aquarium are the farthest and would take about an hour to get to the APQ) but still annoying.
The real problem is that it's the only thing on Victoria of value to any of my characters. None of them train there, none of them buy pots there, none of them do other PQs there. And yet it's 10-15min to even nearby islands. It used to be worth it because of the horrible droprate on Dragon Scales (or anything else of value at Skelegons) so I made money selling apples, but I can train my Paladin at ToT and get a PoT every hour, pretty much guaranteed. The fact that each APQ gives me about 0.15%, while an hour at ToT is near 10% gained, is just another difference.
If you could hold as many APQ tickets as you wanted (stacked, not 1 per slot) and you could gain them every 6 hours in an above-the-head lightbulb quest, then I would accumulate tickets and then do 5-10 back to back APQs. But you can only do 1 per visit to Amoria, spread 6 hours apart.

Thats why I stopped APQing.
Most APQers take FOREVER to finish one. Its just not worth it.
If I lead it was easy and fast, I knew how to easily clear all stages and with a 14xBM killing Rog was rather easy.
Also PQing with guildies or buddies was quite good.
But now with Temple is just worse xd so try to get your guildies or buddies to go with you.
Or just go Temple like everyone else? xd

@ Stereo: In my experience, it's more like 20% than 50%.
@ OP: I don't know how it is in Bellocan, but in Kradia there never was anyone hanging around Amos' Training Ground. The only way to get an APQ going is by recruiting from your guild/alliance and bl (and asking them to pass the request on, slowly building a bigger apq-bl), or, I suppose, using a smega.
Many people have APQ-mules permanently stationed at the PQ entrance, but they do not have them logged in all day. You won't see them there. You have to have the main (or Cygnus, or Aran, or w/e char they're working on atm) in your BL to get that mule in your APQ.
The PoT explanation for the demise of APQ is interesting, but invalid, in my opinion. The vast majority of married people are too low-level to train at ToT. Yes, they're also too low-level to be useful against Geist, but that's not what the OP was complaining about. He didn't say he couldn't find effective attackers, he said he couldn't find anyone at all.

Personally I don't apq much because it's not profitable enough. I average an apple about 1/3 the time, but even at 6m per apple it takes a minimum of 2 hours to do the 3 apqs and I can earn 6x that much (easily) in that time hunting other things.
The people I know who apq usually do so only with buddies / guildies and some of them will look on ch 1 for a random if they can't fill their party with their friends. (And many keep an apq mule in that location and only log it in to apq, they find the parties while on their main from buddy / guild chat.) So my suggestion is if you like apq and you are in Bello then join a large guild.

I'm mostly too lazy to APQ these days.
Plus, I have a sneaking suspicion that the Aran bandwagon has something to do with it. *cough*

Even skipping the time going there and back (eg. putting my Night Lord permanently at APQ since I'm not training) the time per PQ is not worth the chance of apples, unless I need them for a specific reason. (eg. my guild takes payment for MoNs and helms in apples by preference).
