remember when you were younger?

remember all the good times you had, like when you would skin your knee and mommy would kiss the boo boo to make it feel better?
or when you could eat a packet of Fun Dip sugar without a worry nor care?

No I never had such times. When I skinned my knees I got rubbing alcohol and band-aids, and I never had Fun Dip sugar. My childhood sucked.

When I skinned my knees, I looked at my mom, she looked at me with a straight face, and I continued on my marry way.
Then there was Pokemon. Oh so much Pokemon. <3 my Charizard card.

What about the rest of SP? I faintly remember Throws making out with her brother at the age of 8?

My mother never kissed my boo boo. She gave me a band-aid and alcohol.

I still eat Fun Dip sugar without a worry or a care. Well, that's a lie, I can't find those shits anymore where I live, but I eat other candy without a care.

The only reason I'm not some fat slob is because I hardly eat. But when I do eat, I'm certainly not watching my cards or any shit like that. I could care less how unhealthy my eating habits are. I'm surprised I haven't had a freaking heart attack yet.

Yesterday I made eggs (scrambled in oil and seasoned with some salt, pepper, basil, and hot sauce), frying it with some rice (also salty, and I boiled it with butter as well). In the end, I threw a bit of ketchup in there as well.

That was my dinner, which was actually my lunch at the same time because I only snacked on a few crackers for breakfast.

Staying a kid forever is fucking awesome.

I remember crying in a store for like 20 minutes because my parents wouldn't buy me Yoshi's Island. I left the store with Yoshi's Island.

Then when I finally made it to Baby Bowser, I was so afraid when he transformed that I shut my Super Nintendo off, and had to try again later.

I was in SpEd for a while because my spelling sucked. The kids there were idiots. ._.
"KEY GUYS. QUIZ TIME. HOW MANY DAYS IN A YEAR?"
"DURR. I DUNNO"
2nd grade, I think. Kids ranged from 2nd to 4th?

Was never in Special Ed, however I was referred to psychiatric help from different teachers, due to my negative demeanor, lack of motivation, and the fact that I never paid attention in class (of course I won't pay attention if I know the freaking material), leading my parents to give in to the request and go through with giving it a shot.

Waste of my parent's money. Just played various games, such as Chess and Monopoly with some chick every week. She'd try to pry into my psyche every now and then, but I didn't bother allowing her to do so. So they basically paid for me to have a Chess playmate every weekend.

At least I got to get out of class occasionally to see the school psychiatrist as well, that was pretty awesome. While everyone was in class, I got play Chess with someone and get a motherfuucking milkshake every time.

Man, I forgot all about that. My elementary school was associated with a nearby hospital, meaning it had a REAL nurse office. Not that bullshit "Oh, well here's a band-aid, some pads, and an ice pack" nurse. The kind of nurses who can actually give you your immunization shots and prescribe you medicine when you needed it. AND GIVE YOU MILKSHAKES, FUCK YES I LOVED THOSE FUCKING MILKSHAKES THAT WOULD MAKE EVERYONE JEALOUS THAT I GOT TO GO TO THE NURSE OFFICE SO OFTEN TO SEE THE PSYCHIATRIST!

I find this interestingly funny for some reason a-@

I remember when I was in 5th grade. i was failing because I absolutely hated doing my homework, so after a while my principle had me take a proficiency test of all subjects. I ended up scoring at a 7th grade or above on all subjects except english (spelling). Ahh, that was fun when i was able to shut everyone up with that.

lol, is it awkward childhood time?

When I was in kindergarten, we had these bathroom that had 2 toilets and a long sink. The door to the bathroom had a window. The teachers didn't care if a boy and a girl went into the bathroom, there was only one bathroom anyway. I guess they figured "lol lil kids dunno bout sex" or something.

Anyway, I'd never go in the bathroom with anyone, not even girls, because I knew very well that was pretty freaking strange. Hell, my parents made sure I knew about sex when I was like 4 so I could understand their perverted jokes (and so they could tease me, kinda like that "who's that, your boyfrieeeeeeeeend?! hehe~" thing, only more like "Did you see his plantain? Or you into girls? You know, when your dad was your age -").

Anyway, I'd usually hold it in as best I could since the bathroom had no lock and the DOOR HAD A FREAKING WINDOW peering into it. However, one day I really had to piddle, so I decided to go during nap time when everyone was out. So I'm peeing, minding my business, when I see the teacher peering at me from the freaking window. I stuck my middle finger up at him and finished up.

I got a nasty call to my parents that day. My parents wouldn't really care anyway, but since I had a very valid reason for doing so they simply made sure I was moved to another class. The principal didn't believe the story or anything, but it was enough for me to get moved somewhere else.

In my new class I ate motherfucking MUD PIE in the playground during free time.

I don't know why I did.

Damn, kindergarten sucked.

By the way, there was always gossip in the playground about kids playing games with each other in the bathroom (you show me yours I show you mine!). Fucking stupid idea to have the boys and girls go in the bathroom at the same time, but whatever.

Edit - I'm surprised I even remember this crap, my memory sucks ass.

Wish I remembered his reaction when I flicked him off. I just remember seeing his face looking through the window and me giving him the finger and finishing up my business as fast as possible.

i remember when i was in 4th grade, an old friend of mine that i recently found on facebook was answering a teachers question during math time. now, he kept telling her he was right and she was wrong, which even then i knew he was right and she was wrong. well, she wouldnt give in, so eventually he got pissed and threw his book at her and stormed out of the class. he got a weeks suspension.

later on in 5th grade, we had those desks with the storage space inside them. my desk was always messy, but in an ordered mess. like, my books were in the same place, but everything looked messy as hell. well every 4 months or so we'd clean the desks out, and like always i told the teacher i didnt need to, that my desk was clean. she had another student look at my desk and she, the student, told the teacher that my desk was a dirty mess. i got up and told the teacher that i knew where everything in my desk was and there was no need to clean it out. note that i was standing by it, and that this was while i had been made to talk to the school councelor before, when in 6th grade, i got put into the all BOP class (BOP = SpED... Bop = Below Other People... dunno if others will get that. =x). well, she storms over to my desk, grabs the front of it and flips it over onto the floor. she then looks at me and says something along the lines of "well NOW youve got a reason to clean it up." boy, did my mother love hearing that one. so did the school, i bet they enjoyed her rage at what the teacher did.

i used to be in the boy scouts, and there was a week long camp thing. this was i think my 3rd year into being a wolf scout, or something, iuno, been too long. i was about 10 years old.
anyways, i had to pee one day during the afternoon. now, we had these outhouse buildings available to us, but they were disgusting as all hell. well, back on track, i had to piss. i look into one of the stalls, i see pomegranate actually coming up over the seat. i think "forget that, i need to peeeeeeee!!!" so, my genius mind hatched a brilliant idea: lets pee in the sink. no one was there, even though the door was directly behind me, who would see me?

so, i pull down my fly and let it ride, and suddenly i hear a girl scream from behind me, and shouts "EEEWWWWWWWWWWWW, HE'S PEEING IN THE SINK!!!" i panic. i force out the rest of it as quickly as i can, and chase after her telling her to not tell on me... she did anyway. the councelor heard it, and i was basically dead inside. i had been ratted out by a girl for peein in the mens room sink, how disgusting! that day i got sent to the main tent, and i was forced to stay there for the rest of the day. then when i got home, my mother, whom had been told of this incident, saw fit to discipline me immediately... needless to say i was also kicked out of the scouts program.

Ugh..scouts. That went from fun to horrible fast. I was in it from 1st-3rd grade. It wasn't bad until 3rd grade when my mom decided to be my troup leader. I thought it wouldn't be bad, until she forced me to do every last goddamn program offered because she said it would look bad on her if the kid of the troup leader didn't participate in everything. There was one activity thing called "God and me". I was one of only like 6 kids to have to do this, and I only showed up for like 2 weeks. I think I started getting turned off of religion after that. It was at some church downtown that I had never been to, and wasn't even the religion our family was (it was some Protestant denomination rather than Catholic). I forget how I got out of it.

Then there was day camp. Day camp was one of the worst experiences of my life, and I ubruptly quit scouts afterwards. It was five long days of hell. The first day I thought it would be alright, and didn't mind going. The whole day I had to be outside though, which it was the middle of the summer in South Georgia, and I'm about the palest person on the planet. In addition to that, we had to bring our own lunches, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but my councelor guy in charge of my group had some old trailer thing for us to keep our lunches in, and it got infested with ants just about every day. I ended up home sunburned, and hungry. The second day I didn't want to go so badly that I reverted back to crying like a 3 year old for like an hour. Sadly, it didn't work. I returned home even more sunburned and hungrier. We were essentially forced to go swimming three days out of it as well, which caused my back to get even more sunburned, and since I used to like to do handstands in the pool for as long as I could, my legs ended up getting sunburned as well. I was a burnt mess. I don't go outside anymore.

Another odd thing my mom used to do in elementary school was refuse to buy me shorts of a decent length. I used to beg her to stop buying me these stupid jean-shorts that would only go about 3/4 of the way to my knees. It took until I was in like 6th grade to get a pair of damn shorts I would wear. I wore long pants every day of the year in 5th grade. I don't wear shorts anymore either.

My mom followed the stupid ESRB ratings on video games like they were the law as well. I had to wait until I was fricking 13 to play Street Fighter because "it has blood in it, and you'll mimic what you see." It of course was always there taunting me because my older brother had Alpha 2. I used to sneak playing Wolfenstein 3-D and Doom on my brother's computer when he was at school though. Oddly, my parents didn't really care about Wolfenstein (or really, my mom didn't care. I think my dad was rational enough to only care about the behavior following me playing such games). I've only recently gotten in to 2-D fighters, but now they're just about my favorite genre of games.
