Adventurer rings were nerfed again.

 Spoiler

Crit ring is still the best, but the crit chance isn't as broken anymore.

I don't know... For Vipers, I think Adventurer's Magical Ring is the best. Chance to stun enemies and still cause critical damage. I think that's the one I'm going to get for my Viper.

Woah, didn't see the stun chance.

If the chance to instant kill is the same as chance to stun though...that's obviously better.

They really need to make some sort of difference between the Cruel and Critical rings. They're almost exact clones, with the difference being a 5% extra chance at a crit for half as much damage, and 1 w.att.

Yeah, I'd like to see what exactly the chances are for FATALITY and stun. I'd imagine stun would have a higher chance, but who knows what goes on in the minds of these strange developers.

8% chance to stun an enemy vs 1% chance to ohko an enemy.

Hmm...

Stun should be upped to 30-35%, while instant-kill should be anywhere from 3-7%. Anything higher is like "LOLencouraginginstantingkills"

This changes the upgrades to 13% for Bowmasters, 9% for NLs, and 4% or lower for everyone else. Not nearly as game-breaking, but still counter-productive in terms of class balance.

Increases are based on 100% being the class with SE.

crit ring is still better for classes with base crit or while SE'd regardless. I wonder how the 1% insta kill chance works with sniper's strafe, and I seriously hope they removed the all arrows hit the same strafe on frozen monsters

Anybody got an idea on how to obtain them? You just choose one if you're lvl 30+? So you could get all 3 if you have 3 lvl 30+ and swap when needed? Or would it be random? Or certain jobs get other rings?

Stun needs an increase. OHKO is a bit low, might as well not be there at all. 3-7% for it seems fine. 7 may actually be pushing it a bit. But 1% is seriously lol. Chances are you'll score an instant kill when the monster is already 1 hit from dying anyway.

I'm prett sure it means level an adventurer from 1-50 and you get a choice of any one of the three rings. OR level your current adventurer 30 levels from where you currently are and get the Cruel ring.

either way, it screws over older players. They should have just made it so that if you're over level 50 you can pick what ring you want from Cassandra, much like the adventurer medals. I mean, imagine if they made you make your adventurer over again and level it from 1-120 just to get the 4th job medal and transfer it over to your main?

"But they're not asking you to level from 1-120 over again!"

They may as well be with all their event items that force you to make new characters and level them up. I understand Aran and Evan, since they want to kinda force people to get started on the new characters in hopes of them gaining an interest in the class and continuing with them, but something like this? There's no reason for it. "Remake your adventurer, lol". No, I don't want to remake a new character from 1-50 to get the benefit of these rings, and I certainly won't be able to level 30 times within the event period.

I wonder what happens if you have an adventurer at level 1 before this event comes out. Could you level to 30 and then just get the ring?

Edit - Oh, you can only do the 30 levels thing if you're over 50. Okay, seriously, screw you Nexon.

7% might be pushing it, I agree. However, it's 7% chance success rate is almost equivalent to passing a 5% cleanslate, but slightly higher. -shrugs-

If you get from 1~50 you can choose one out of 3 rings. If you're above 50, you can get a choice of one of the three rings if you gain 30 levels. But I heard you can't do both quests on the same character.

Good, they came to their senses...sorta. At least NLs and BMs can stop complaining about getting updates now. Rolleyes

Magic attack ring is good for my buc Big Grin Stun + crit + watk = win in my book

I'll probably go for a crit ring on my bowmaster tho. God my character needs all the boosts it can get lol my damage sucks ><

no way in hell i can level 30 times within a time period, especially at 4th job >.>

Still not sure if I want any of these. Since you can't wear any of these rings at the same time as Lillians ring and all, it's odd having to choose. Evene though the 10% crit chance is good, I still want the stat boost >.>

Why couldn't they release these before Arans? lol these make Lilin's ring completely useless =_= They even have better hp boost. They're adding so many hp items that HP requirement for HT is so easy to achieve now as ranged classes.

Isn't this still really broken for those classes with base critical already? This makes BM do 65% crit and NLs do 75% does it not?

unless you can stun bosses, I don't see how its going to help bucs much.

since buccs mostly 1 hit ko anything with barrage stunning after that fact is rather pointless..

possibly stun will help change a 3 hit dragonstrike mob into an occasional 2 hit dragonstrike mob.
