How Can I Remove Desktop Defender 2010?

As topic says....please I need some serious help....this Desktop Defender 2010 thing won't leave me alone and keeps on saying I have viruses, I googled but the steps seemed to be very confusing to me

Can you tell me how to remove this step by step? Thanks

Do what you need to do to remove it. The point of "commercial" rogue anti-whatever software is to embed itself as best as it can into your computer and frustrate the crap out of you. OF COURSE THE STEPS TO REMOVE IT WILL BE COMPLICATED!!

1) Go to Wal-Mart
2) Buy Windows 7
3) Install it onto your computer

or alternatively:

1) Go to Pirate Bay
2) Steal Windows 7
3) Install it
