As many of you probably heard by now KMS is bringing up more balancing into this game. I am sure by now, you all realize that heros are a very powerful class that do awesome DPS. DK are just a little weaker than Heros that need to keep their hp below 50% of max hp in order to do that decent dmg. However they give other classes hb allowing them to survive better and tank higher dmges.
Now Paladins with the new upgrades have stronger Blast (550%---->580%).
Lightning charge can stack with the other charges. (x 1.25)
Holy charge is now x 1.5 instead of x 1.4.
So lets do some simple calculations.
Paladin = 580% (Blast) x 1.25 (Lightning charge) x 1.5 (Holy charge) since they all stack = 1087%
Speed of Blast is same as Heros Brandish.
Range is the same as Heros.
So it all comes down to Skill %.
Hero:
Brandish=260 x 2
Advanced Combo= x 1.9
Hero = 260 % (Brandish) x 2 (b/c it hits twice in 1 brandish) * 1.9 (Advanced Combo) = 988%
Difference = 1087 - 988 = 99%
So yeah there is a difference but not so big.
Paladins on neutral will do a bit higher like i showed. On elemental weak bosses it will do like 50% more dmg. So Paladins are dam strong huh now? However they only attack 1 boss. Brandish attacks up to 3 bosses. Lets take anego. It is weak to holy and lightning.
So 1087 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 2445% Can you believe this? <---Paladins on 1 anego.
Heros on anego (lets say there was 3 even though that isnt possible, but just for the fun of it) = 988 x 3 =2964%
So yeah Heros and Paladins are now the two top DPS dealers excluding Arans out of the melee classes. Interesting huh?
Also the top calculation is using lightning charge and holy charge. It is different if using ice and fire.

Threaten is a skill paladins have on 2nd job i think or 3rd cant remember well. Also Threaten is now % based. At maxed it lowers the watk by 20% of the monster along with some others things. But 20% less watk means, less physical dmg done by the monster or boss.
I am not sure about the formula of how much dmg a monster does. However I think lets say a bf or anego has like 1200watk. 20% less makes it less than 1000watk. Crow is like 1000watk and does 8k dmg around there. 1200watk bf and anego do like 12k dmg. So Im guessing 20% less watk means anego will do the same dmg as a crow or less? I may be wrong on this part of my calculations b/c i dont know how the formula works but, im just guessing. The top stuff are all correct though, just the threaten part im not so sure. Btw Threaten works on bosses and is a skill like slow that mages have.
If i made any mistake in the bottom part tell me please. I am not a paladin so I might have missed some things, but I dont think so.

Paladin with SI as well with a sword. I think the max speed is what like 95 blast per min I think.
So lets calculate the max dmg this paladin can do.
Damage = 17 000 (Range) * 10.87 (skill %)= 184 790 on nuetral. Imagine on holy weak. Also imagine on both holy and lightning weak. 184 790 *1.5 = Over 200k. <----max dmg cap. So Paladins will be restricted to 199 999 dmg per blast max dmg.
DPM = 199 999 * 95 (number of blasts per min) = 18 999 905 <---This is there max dmg per minute if they hit max dmg each blast they do in that minute. Lets just say on anego they will probably be hitting max dmg each blast or smth right? 184k * 1.5 * 1.5= TOO HIGH? Even the minimum dmg of that max dmg is probably over 200k?
DPS=316 665
A NL with similar fundings probably can do an average damage of what like 150k easy at lvl 200 with the same buffs ( i added in se, but i didnt for the paladin calculations) right?
So DPS it is 250. If you have awesome fundings then it can go up to like what maybe 330k? So yeah paladins are dam strong now if you can hp wash it well.
I was bored again lol! Damage cap is going to annoy these paladins lol.
