LOL. Carlos complains about MM as much or more than I do. And we both still love our class.
I dont know about all bosses but Shadowers do alright on BF. A friend of mine can take one down in like 5 minutes at lv 170 and it takes me about 30 minutes...that was when I could fight it and was able to use skills like DB to keep it from running over me. Now its futile trying to kill it, plus it takes way to long.

MMs in theory look good .... then there's the glitches, bugs and issues with skill synergy. Whoever thought of giving a charge up skill to a class with low hp needs to be punched. I love the concept of pierce but it doesn't quite deliver as good as it looks on paper. half the time I charge for nothing because I need to let go to pot, or I end up whacking because of the annoyingly huge hitboxes on TT mobs.

The first part of the re-balancing officially goes live in KMS on the 7th January, when do people think it will reach GMS?

I'd say in April or May. Usually we get patches with skill changes pretty fast.

According to Spadow the changes aren't done. So that's good. He posted that the post for the rebalance patch says PS: Dont be disappointed if you dont see a change of your job. The transformation of the Adventurer continues!.
I know more classes need a lot of changing but I hope heroes get a little more too. They're mostly set, but no matter what class we're talking about, it's safe to say that everyone likes getting upgraded. Yay farther rush. Just a little more would be cool, I'm not really expecting anything at all. The changes made to this point for the other classes have been really awesome though, yet I feel bad for buccs. Can't wait for the next rebalance, even if heroes only get a little fairy dust again.

Ice Splitter = 130%+200%+30% = 360% at 540ms
Flamethrower = 160%+200+30% = 390% at 540ms
Torpedo = 780% at 780ms
750%*1000/1080 = 694.4% DPS
780%*1000/780 = 1000% DPS
These numbers don't include the burn damage that Flamethrower does, but rest assured that it's negligible.
I'd like to note that alternating attacks like that is really hard to do spot on. I should be able to do about 55.5 Fire+Ice's in a minute, but the best I could do was 50 without a macro.

Burn damage analysis...
If Flamethrower deals 390% damage, each second tick of burn damage will deal 58.5% damage. It lasts for 9 seconds, so letting a single Flamethrower burn out will deal 916.5% damage over 9 seconds.
As for DPS, assuming it doesn't get affected by Splitter, it adds 58.5% damage each second making it 752.9% DPS spammed.

I guess that is noticeable, but not nearly enough to help it catch Torpedo. Also, the burn effect doesn't happen until 1 second after the skill hits. As you thought, Ice Splitter does not negate the burn. Flamethrower, however, unfreezes monsters.

There's only one change I want to see for archers, and that's "dragon breath works on bosses". If they're making everyone else better, they can at least give us that.

I think Archers need things like 10% more crit, a huge damage boost to Inferno and Blizzard, 120% (or so) Strafe for both classes, and maybe a burn effect or something useful for Phoenix. Also, Hamstring and Blind should work on bosses, even if it's at reduced effectiveness.

Some neat changes would be that Dragon breath boss knockback. I'm thinking about that NL skill that technically KBs stuff, too, but I think it doesn't fit Knockbacking too much. However, it'd be interesting to see, since it's short range. I'm all for stun mastery being activated with bosses, even if not stunned. Since you can't :p.
Also, the ultimate fix... How do you think it'll happen? I'm all for giving a short cooldown, and improve all other skills around, to make up for it. Also, make Big Bang a useful skill for bosses.
All I think of is to avoid having useless skills. That includes all jobs.
EDIT: Wow, I wrote all that AWFULLY. But screw it, not gonna rewrite it.

And now paladins do slightly more 1v1 in most situations. EXACTLY what a 1 target skill should do vs a skill that hits 3. Oh, and look, brandish does more damage to 3 targets than ACB can. Exactly how the game should work.
Funny, did you add crit into it? I have seen Aran's have a better DPS and DPM than me at 135...............

Phoenix imo should be able to crit like in the beginning of 4th job. Or inferno can get back it's fun platform burn damage thing (that would be unique training and maybe worth using).
Hopeful for my buccaneer to see some awesome sauce too

You're also forgetting the fact that you can tank hits from most bosses without dying, and that an Aran's damage dies if they get stunned or Sealed.

I agree with you 100% about doubting db on bosses. So far the archer things i'm hoping for:
110% strafe (or more)
300k snipe (nl's in gms can do 220k+ in a single tt, it doesnt seem right that that's more than snipe)
Even less distance for bowwhacking (if you can shoot a gun at an object right next to you, you should be able to shoot a bow/xbow)
Thrust adding jump potentially?
