Windows 7 preinstalled computer

It's a new computer and i've realized maple runs laggy on it whilst it ran perfectly on my old xp. i know maple isn't compatible with windows 7 and stuff but should i / should i not download nvidia driver from the nexon website?

Download drivers from the actual nvidia website, that way it will 100% work.

What exactly do you need to download? My computer has W7 standard, and for some reason I can't get MS to run at all. I don't get any error message, it just doesn't open. I click it and it says "Do you want to change settings to run" and I click "Yes" and then it states "this program has known compatabilty issues" and if I click "run program" it just closes the window and nothing else happens. Is there any way to fix it?

Sorry for late reply. But i'm able to play maplestory on the windows 7 computer but it does have this um...consistent lag on the computer. It was never like this on my windows xp. so i was wondering if downloading the nvdia driver to this computer would fix the problem since it did fix the consistent lag on my sister's windows vista computer.
