Reboot and check that all cables are nice and snug. If it keeps happening, I would call you ISP. I've had connection issues before where it was Comcast's error on their end. D:

Do you use WIFI (wireless) to connect to your modem/router?

Omg. I've had it. I called my internet provider and he re-booted my router. Everything was fine, but now today, NOTHING, I mean NOTHING will stop my computer from d/cing me out of MS and destroying my connection every 10 minutes on the dot. I don't know what to do anymore.

Are you connecting via wired connection or wireless connection?
If wireless, did you try connecting via wired connection?
Do you have any other computers?
Do they have any disconnection problems?

Well, it doesn't look like I can do anything else, so I'm probably just going to have to sell my computer and use the money to try to buy a new one.

If at all possible, try to get a wired connection and see if it works. All you need to do is plug in the Ethernet cable into the corresponding jack in the laptop.
You might also want to try reinstalling your network drivers, usually available through your computer manufacturer's website.
As a LAST RESORT, you can reformat. My computer's internet used to be really funky, but a reformat fixed it.
