How do i disable this volume thing

does anyone know how i can disable this?, everytime i press m it pops up, and it's frustrating playing starcraft pressing m all the time
I spilled water on my laptop and now this pomegranate pops up.
my OS is vista

There might be a program running in the taskbar that can let you disable the on-screen prompts (or whatever they are called) or if it's something the PC brand installed there might be a Programs folder where you can do the same. Or, seeing as it's Vista it might even be a feature, but I'm not a Vista user so.... yeah.

My dad's computer has that, and his is the only vista computer I've seen with it. I always thought it came with the keyboard.
