New Decade Resolution
#1
So... 2009 is coming to a close, and that means the start of a new decade! What's everyone's new decade resolution? What do you hope to accomplish within the next 10 years?

For some strange reason, I can't seem to think that far ahead right now.

Graduate and get a career that will support me and any family I might have within the next ten years. Learn to play every Jimi Hendrix song. Get a gaming PC. Find time to actually do what I want. Go to Italy.

For just 2010: Find time to do what I want. Learn parkour.

Eh, slowly becoming a trend. Saddens me.

I hope my immigration files will be processed smoothly and I'll be going to university in the US in 2 years. Probably will study my ass off, get part time jobs, not die from the cold (fk, I already saw the scythe at like 20*C,) graduate, get a job and date my first girl. Biggrin
By 2019 I'll be either 7 years dead or 29 years old, probably married by then.

A decade sure is long...

Get into and spend four years in the most amazing place in the world. While I'm there, decide what I'm going to do with my life, because I sure as hell don't know yet.
And have shoulder-length hair or longer at some point during the decade.

New year's resolution: Get over my increasingly bad Senioritis so that I can fulfill the above. Except the hair part.

If I accidentally have a kid, I'm going to make sure it doesn't start liking stupid crap like everything on Disney/Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network, shovelware Wii games, and the Jonas Brothers.

Graduate college with a 3+ GPA.
Improved enough in drawing to get a career with it.
Become a US citizen and not just be some chick living here on a student visa (because home sucks, I like it here so far).

I have more, just can't think of them/how to say them right now.

is the new decade 2010 or 2011?

isn't this decade from 2001-2010? so doesn't the new decade start at 2011?

the first millennium was from year 1 to 1000 right... so ehh, someone explain to me..

The first millennium was certainly not 2000 years long. And I'm quite certain that year 0 was before year 1. Depends whether you use an ordinal or a cardinal range.

Besides... The first year was year 0. Thus the second year was year 1.
