Aran Blood Washing.
#1
I'm a level103 Aran right now and I feel like Aran's HP isn't enough. I already deal with a Viper that has pretty low HP, since it's not washed, so I want more for my Aran.

Questions :

1. How much HP does an Aran get per AP?
2. Would Blood Washing be a good idea since I can't afford HP Washing?
3. How many points per level should I put into HP?
4. How many points total/how much total HP would it take for me to be able to survive Zakum and Horntail easily?

1. 32 is the median number, it varies per point.
2. It's a good idea if you don't mind be weaker than other Arans your level
3. Your decision imo.
4. You should already be able to survive Zak at 103, just don't go into the body. With HB I think you should be able to survive HT easily too.

Dont forget that in 4th Job you get a skill called High Defense which permanently decreases your damage taken by 15%...so thats like having extra HP. Wink

I'm guessing it means adding hp without washing the ap from mp...but since u are not washing anything why is it called blood washing?

Blood Washing is the act of putting AP into HP and not washing it out. I have no idea why it's called "Blood Washing," but that's the name GMS players have given it over the years.

It's called blood build xfd. Washing implies switching of points. Blood build is points in HP xfd.

I've always heard it as "blood washing."

My impression is that it started out as "blooding" or "blood build". Then there was also "HP washing" Then someone somewhere confused the two and got "blood washing" and "HP washing". I have heard all these terms from different people, so i think someone just got confused.

You're "cleaning" out the points in HP by taking out points in MP to put in normal stats.

Blood washing means that you put pionts into HP early and wash them out later, if you dont eventually wash them out then it is is just a plain old blood build.

Amongst this small argument of definition...
I think you should try it, just for a little while. If you expect to boss it'd be a good idea, but if you don't then wait. I don't really think anyone would take a 120 Aran, when you get there, to a srsboss run. Maybe if you have the connections, but whatever.
Give it a shot Justin~ ^^

I plan to add points to hp from 90 to 120, same as i did for my BM. I added 1 point to HP every lvl up. Currently, I have around the same hp as an unwashed/unadded archer who is about 10 lvls higher than me (with a mom as well).
