"Battleship Break: Destroys Corsair's Battleship upon impact. mAtk: 500"
Can't be that hard to code.

That doesn't make any sense. Why would they make a skill to specifically disable Battleship like that o_o

Not if it had a "remove summons/transformation" attack/spell.

They could do it if the monster shoots at H6.

Man. It's been ages since I've played that.

ya they made Arans a bunch different than the other classes, i for one liked the story line and how you have to do quests to get your skills upped by remembering them Big Grin but i did feel it was a BIT much, when u can spend liek 3 lvls just killing quest monsters to get your skill or something.. is a little excessive to me

i personally would restart your char, and just forget about doing all the skill quests untill you really need them, Sure you COULD use Booster at whatever level the quest unlocks.. but in reality i would wait the few lvls to where its basically lvl 30 before you get it so u can do it at your own whim and maybe finish off any 2X cards u may have or even events. all i can say is... CPQ is your friend, costs no pots to do it and great exp.....if you do infact restart it, dont forget to take off your ring from the lvl 50 aran, it can help a bit, and if that is your highest lvl char and you have more room on your account i would just leave it, so you can still get the lvl 5 blessing, if its not your highest i would just outright delete it tho save you looking @ it as a reminder all the time >.>

Why are you talking about Arans here? O.o
Any way, Aran's are supposed to be very strong, but very hard to play, that includes the so many quests you have to finish to get your skills. Besides the story line makes them interesting/fun unlike other quests, so if you're suggesting that should be changed, I disagree.

Challenge? Perhaps that's why they buffed the off-battleship skills?

Monsters with the ability to instantly "break" the battleship sending it into the cooldown period would make the game more challenging for Captains who think they can just spam battleship cannon and win the game.

As someone else already suggested, maybe Nexon is thinking about a Summon / Transoform-Cancel skill.

Except you can't do that in the first place, that's what the durability is for. You do have to avoid taking ship damage for it to last as long as we say it does. Corsairs should be strong on ship and not so much off ship, not the other way around. There's less of a challenge to spamming RF than trying to manage the ship while getting bumped around and taking a lot of damage. Corsairs without a ship are about as effortless to play as BMs.

It's because the testers didn't realize you can get off the ship and assume that it dies insanely fast.

I guess that it's fair for NLs, BMs, and Heroes to constantly be strong without any restrictions.

Totally.

Well as for NLs and BMs, our mobbing aint even close to that of a sair, so yea we do face restrictions. A sair was great both at training and bossing, but had to be keen about the ship care to excel. With the new update they have everything going for them, a broken ship means almost nothing. Not to mention that the ship can take more before breaking as well.

Hmm, Buccaroos got proper stance, huh?

Passive critical and we're good to go.

I didn't know that Captains had a Soul Bullet that takes care of rapid fire's bullet gobbling ability.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? No one that actually owns a Corsair has ever complained about running out of bullets. Corsairs are more powerful than NLs and BMs when we do have a ship, so of course it's fair that we're weaker without a ship. These changes would make it so that we do nearly as much damage as them even without the ship. We're also above average mobbers while NLs and BMs are the worst mobbers in the game. We had a lot going for us already, and depending on the ship is not a weakness so much as it's required to prevent us from being overpowered. We don't need any damage boosting to RF, and only a small one to Flame/Ice.

the point is, they want to make the classes more appealing.
who wants to play a class that is one of the strongest, then suddenly one of the weakest?
this isn't even the last re-balance patch. chances are they'll change other classes to accommodate these changes.

Point is, as it stands, out of the boat they are not even close to "one of the weakest"

ITT: we judge a class based on paper and pencil calculations.

OH HEY GUYS, IF CAPTAINS ARE AS OVERPOWERED AS YOU ALL SAY, why are they among the least played classes.
