I hate this skill to be honest. I find it near impossible to pull off, and it is slow as pineapple. I would rather get whirlwind seeing as they would serve more use than pushing monsters super slow and dealing damn near no damage to them. Are there any tips to pulling this godforsaken skill off or no? Because I am seriously debating just not maxing it in second job and putting the points in Booster.
And trust me, I have been trying to use this skill for a LONG time, and I only successfully do it every twenty to twenty five triple swings, the rest of the time i just combat step out of triple swing.

Spam attack for triple swing, then immediately after that press (arrow)+attack right after that, while your character is still performing triple swing. That's the best way to do it.

It's really not hard to pull off. I assume you train by spamming the attack key? Throw in an arrow key and continue to spam. Usually works.
Or just use a controller/macro like all the cool kids do.
You shouldn't be maxing it anyway. o.o 21 I think is where you have it when you hit 70. Body Pressure, Step, and Drain are all more useful. Why you'd not have all of those (omitting BP) maxed by your late/mid 50s is beyond me. :|

Im only level 65, but I am debating even getting the skill to 21 because I find it hard to use, I ill have to try tapping th arrow key down

I find it generally inconvenient anyway. The fact I can't rush when I want to is a pain and it keeps activating when I want to smash. I would leave it at 17 and max booster but 16 Booster stacks better with my other buffs.

I am just curious as to what makes so necessary in later training. I kill things so fast that I don't need to rush them. Is it that necessary at skeles and in oblivion maps that it would destroy me if I never maxed it?

When you spam Triple Swing attacks, don't hold any directional key because that would be unnecessary either way. Those keys are only registered the moment they get pressed down, if held over a long period of time, they're just registered as not being there.
So, do whatever you usually do, jump left/right and attack if you want to, the moment you start spamming 3 (or more key strokes) to perform Triple Swing, let go of the directional keys, then when your brain tells you to "Final Charge", hit the direction and attack, voila. I must say it's not very useful beyond gathering mob for the sake of convenience when Smashing/Fenriring. Perhaps when you get Freeze Standing, it will be much more useful.
I personally would use it to maintain combo count mainly.

I think it is a badly implemented skill. As you can only use it after Triple Swing it is next to useless for training as far as I'm concerned. You cant "Rush" a mob of monsters and then wail on them.

I find it usefor for making mobs. If you train on something you're not killing in one triple double normal combo, it can help you piss off a mob and run away. All a while Smashing the chasers. (What I do at Jesters)

Well, if it helps, I usually press the directonal key during the second attack, or between the second and third attacks, of Triple Swing. Just checked, and I, at the speed I press my keys, usually will have pressed attack three times at that point of the skil animation, making it the perfect time to use Final Charge.

It's not as good as rush, but still IMO a great skill.
I press att att att down right/left att right after eachother, I'm done when the doulbe swing animation has finished.
The skill description says left/right down but down left/right works also.

your ability to pull of combos is greatly affected by the internet connection you have and the computer you have. I found that if the computer I use suck, and maple is laggy, it's hard to even pull off triple swing. But if you don't have any problems, pressing the attack key 3 times quickly will make you do normal, double and triple swing.

Its not the lag its just the skill in general. I have no lag but i still end up using combat step after i triple swing which pisses me off. The skill just feels really slow compared to all my other attacks'
At two above, hitting down and left/right is also the trigger for smash and penril................

spamming is bad, btw smash/peril doesnt need triple to use, just practice and get the right timing, it took me awhile

I had a problem with this. However, after doing a few tests, I'm able to execute it like 99% of the time now.
Tap it three or max four times, and while doing the 3rd slash, hit arrow + attack.

If a Combat Step comes after your Triple Swing, then you're doing it wrong. You're not supposed to spam-tap the arrow key.
Either press Left/Right and Attack at the same time once, or hold left/right after Double Swing's animation and continue spamming the attack key.

Yeah Final Charge is a total fail skill... I'm even planning on maxing Booster AND Mastery first, because it totally sucks balls...
Since I use a gamepad I can use it a perfect 100% of the time, but it's still crap...
Aran's are just so overpowered that you kill anything in 2 full combo swings anyway... Maybe if I go training at Oblivion Guardians at lvl 65 that it's of any use... (for those who don't get it: this is a joke). I have the feeling I'm playing a cheerleader class (twirl ftw...?) at places that are already -way- above my level...
They should have made it a skill that you can perform whenever -you- want, like Corkscrew Blow from pirates... now it's kinda useless...

Only too powerful Arans will say that Final Charge is a fail skill..
You got to think of the people that are not as fucking overpowered. Those are the Arans that need it the most.

How the hell are you two-hitting everything at level 65? If you're THAT powerful, you need to lay off the steroids... There's no fun in the class if you destroy everything without being able to execute any of the attacks past Double Swing...

Well I'm not -that- powerfull, I meant with 2 complete combo's + 1 final charge, not 2 hits  . What I meant to say was, about everything gets killed after 1 charge + next combo, making you move slower through the map then when you could move when you needed to hit them more then 2 times... But it's getting a pain in the ass to get my combo above 30 just to enable drain.
Ah well, afterall I think it will get better on high lvl monsters, but I guess in gMS every monster below lvl 80 is just too weak to set up good Aran combo's. :o
