I'm afraid to stick another event chaos scroll on this... :S

What are those earrings?

Earring DEX scrolls are way too expensive to waste money on that will likely fail. Besides, as you can see, I only have 23m mesos. =/ I can't exactly afford much right now.

How easy to get are the earrings and the scrolls for them?

Well, the fishing event is where you get a fishing rod that lasts for 30 days, a chair that's permanent and untradeable, and 2 sets of 120 pieces of bait every day. You sit there AFK or whatever for a few hours while the thing fishes for you and you get up to 2% EXP, some mesos (in very small amounts), ETC inventory fishes that are for quests, ores, the event chaos scrolls for the earrings (they come out VERY often), Gold Fish, which are for the medals, and Gold Fish Eggs, which are required for the earrings. The permanent earrings require 60 eggs, which makes it a bit difficult to get (Although, this is only week 2 of the event and I'm already on my second pair of earrings), so this one is probably the only one that will turn out good.

Sounds like a pain to get just like the permanent Agent earrings. But exp for AFKing...

Do these things just add Str, or do they add +1 to all stats?

There are :

White Earrings (+1 to all stats, time limited, 40 Gold Eggs Required)
Green Earrings (+2 STR, permanent, 60 Gold Eggs required)
Purple Earrings (+2 DEX, permanent, 60 Gold Eggs required)
Red Earrings (+2 INT, permanent, 60 Gold Eggs required)
Blue Earrings (+2 LUK, permanent, 60 Gold Eggs required)

The scrolls work the exact same as normal Chaos Scrolls, except they work at a 100% success rate.

If I could get those earrings, I'd probably try to land an Earring INT 60% on the first slot and then Chaos away.

the earring drops from scarlion/targa according to MSsea drop tables. It is not crafted

I think those are Time Earrings, well thats what they say in the owl for GMS anyway.
