I find it funny how people always end up commenting on/down right hating my Manteau.

It's range is ridiculously large. I have Ducking Dashed right behind a Witch to try to avoid it and was still been grabbed by it.

IT'S LIKE A GODDAMNED VACUUM.

I love PvPing so much! Goodness it is nice to be home on break. I can party and PvP with others whenever I want! Always up for anything with you guys. Let me know if you wanna do something.

Finally fought against my first level 40 Witches today. Two different ones, actually! The first one was someone I didn't know, but I think it's a person who goes to DFOSource (I rarely browse there). I had no clue until I was just there a moment ago. I saw someone talking about me. lol Must be the Witch I fought! I saw Holypie there, too. *waves* I was having so much fun against her. Fighting another Witch was definitely more fun than I imagined. Probably the most fun PvP opponent ever. And totally not to brag, but I was doing awesome. Stupid power went out today and I got disconnected during a match.

The second 40 Witch I fought was a friend of mine! That was a load of fun, too. She browses SP so I won't say anything evil (lol), but I totally started off rockin' again. After a few matches she started getting me, as well, though... We must fight more! It's awesome seeing how differently other Witches fight against me, especially ones with Fire skills. Love it!

Also fought my first level 40 Launcher (and like the only other Launcher I've faced besides MasPan, which was when I was 2x... lol). I found I really like facing Launchers. Much easier to defeat than the other gunners. I can understand why, though. I actually even felt a little bad after a while (we had fun, don't get me wrong). Their laser hits as hard as hell, but it's easy to avoid and they can't really melee...at all. Easy to get up in their face and dominate.

Lastly, I got destroyed as brutally as ever by some slayer (I assume blade master) again. Real shocker there. Level 37 and I couldn't do a dang thing against him. Embarrassing. I cheered up a little after fighting him when a 24 slayer challenged me. I did better there. lol

All in all, really fun day of PvPing in the Practice room. I'm done with competitive PvPing for the most part. I'm in it for the fun! I would have done so many more matches today if not for the stupid power outage. I want to face more Southperrians!

Hi! *Waves back* There are actually tons of Southperrians over at DFOSource. Mark, MasPan, Dyxanije, Fiel, Providence and a bunch of other people I can't remember because it's down for me right now.
And, yeah PvP as a Launcher is brutal. All of your skills are slow and clumsy, designed for wiping out massive waves of oncoming monsters that are just as slow, if not slower than you. The only time PvP is kind of fun is in the Mt. Thunderime map where your huge X-axis skills are helpful when you snipe people from across the room. But then people complain about you, and I was in a PvP match where they outright banned Gatling and Flamethrowers because they were so pissed off at the three gunners that were there. It's actually really funny with launchers and PvP. They're fine with owning you in Tavern but then they peach when you own them in Thunderime. It's just all the 12 year olds playing MMOs I guess.

Most launchers just jump and fire cannons at you until their skills cooldown or they hit you. Makes it annoying. One thing that sucks is if they get you in bbq, they can charge this shot and it deals a crapload of damage

As a Witch, I didn't find it annoying. Usually I can't stand having to chase opponents. I hate dealing with hit and run strategies (though I'll sometimes use them myself, if I'm in a pinch). But Launchers are quite easy to catch, especially since you can get behind them if you dodge their attacks. A failed BBQ, laser or whatever that mini-gun like skill is allows me to get directly behind them easily. It is very bad getting caught in them, though. Regardless, out of all of our matches, he only beat me a few times. And only once when I was using Mana Shield (I stopped after the first several matches), if I remember right. They're just too slow and limited to deal with someone fast and in their face all the time.

Still, it's incredible getting hit for 18k (with no Mana Shield) in a single hit from a charged laser. Monster.

All this talk about PvP fun...

Not that there's any real difference between "Open Beta" and official release. Characters will remain, cash shop is already open.

Been hearing that people outside the US and Canada will be able to play when they end the beta phases.

I just want to play without having to get additional crap on my computer. Is that so much to ask for? I live about a mile away from the US border, I can see Texas from my house. Let me play, dammit!

I'm impressed at how at level 1, Freeze Grenade already replaces level 5 G-14.

Kinda annoyed. I hadn't used any pots at all until 2nd Spine. I burned through all of the low tier pots, my stock of Champagnes, my stock of Octopus Balls, and I'm getting close to using my Eucharists and I'm almost out of Distilled Waters. Such a pain in the ass. I'm getting owned like mad.

Just watch out when you get Flash Grenades. If you throw them at Wisps people will KILL YOU.

Damn... thats like... the only reason why i went to DnF from DFO... i couldn't PvP in DFO ;o;, but god, now that i can in DnF, i:

1) get my ass handed to guildmates
2) end up owning guildmates after 100+ matches (quick learner? xd)
3) getting lagged to hell from some random japanese

At least i get to know what a Battlemage on PvP is... now i just need 30% more attack speed from avatars ._.

But BBQ, which I left at 1, really doesn't do too much damage. I'm talking more about PvE rather than PvP, if that's where you're looking at.

I actually dish out more overall damage with a pierce boosted normal attack combo than a BBQ. Then again, BBQ has its invincibility frames.

Upgrading is such a cruel endeavor. +10 went smoothly on both my 40 weapons, only 1 fail each at +6. I wanted to at least +11 a splitter just to test it out. 7mil later I give up. It's an effing 25 weapon T_T. I just secretly wanted to make a +14 splitter and like ruin lives with it D:.
