I might be missing something...but why does Combo Smash only work when attacking right?

You can use it both to the right (down right attack) and to the left (down left attack).

though the keys say down right, its actually down forward (forward being wherever you want to attack). So if you hit down left attack, it will smash left

Ahhh thanks, thats going to make things easier than always coming at monsters from the left.

I recently got 58-73 on my Aran at WR and I've been trying to look for a new spot to train because I'm an exp whore.
Went to the map before Gallos since my accuracy only allowed me to hit them 70% of the time. Did pretty well, 10% in a couple minutes, but they hit pretty hard and my hp is pretty low. (On that note, I was contemplating on putting some ap, maybe 30 max, into hp. Okay idea?)
I was wondering if Kents would be a better alternative or would they be hitting just as hard as the vikings?
I'm mainly just looking for a nice, fast place to train with monsters that don't hit extremely hard.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I did Stormbreakers from 71-81. They hit around 1.2k?
I did Kents from 81-90, I loved it.

They do hit a little too hard to just rely on Drain/Pressure, but Barbarians are good to use.

would typhons be viable training options eventually? or are they just too much of a hassle to worry about?

stupid question & im not sure if this has already been asked but uh. even though red snowboards are slow a 118 unhammered would be better than a 97 karstan.. correcto?

Red Surfboards are the faster level of Slow, so yeah, it's only about 8 w.atk difference to be better. Unless the Karstan's acc is useful.

That's probably because you're hitting the poison gas machine or whatever it's called, I noticed that at B-1 too.

What makes an Aran better than a Dragon Knight? I still don't get this at all, honestly. They just attack 'faster', and their attacks looks less fancier. I don't see the hype. Can anybody please explain this to me?

Normal attack his mobs w/o adding skills
Smash does 700% to 10 mobs
No issues about spear vs pa SP build
Can never stab with a Pole arm
Passive Crit
Double/Triple hit 12 mobs
Rush-like skill @ lv 54

^Off the top of my head. Don't know much about 3rd/4th job.
I hate the term "better". My list is things Aran have over DKs. DKs will never die off because HB is the pomegranate.

On Jr Yetis, I HaxStep to the left, which flies far. I start swinging in mid air and hit the bot catcher before I realize it's there and get warped back to town. A similar thing happens with Smash because it has a lot more range than a normal melee attack.
