But Japanese? Korean? Chinese? Russian? European? Etc.. its just so annoying.. this is GMS!!!

Dude, replacing letters in words is the opposite of creative. It's trying to use a name that someone else already took.

Oh, and the G in GMS stands for Global.

The trend I'm seeing with fail names in WoW have to do with Death Knights. Apparently, they think names that include "Death, Dead, Deth, Arthas, Sephiroth, and even Goku" (along with various swapping of random letters) make good names for DKs... The proof of these levels of fail are here.

Sadly, I've seen Paladins in WoW do the same thing with crap including "Pally, Bubble", and other various Paladin terms.

And not suprisingly, those things could apply in MS, assuming some of those fail people have migrated to MS.

KhainPriest is not exactly the most original or unique name either, or 400gobuA or Ooll7021oO or whatever. If they had finished at lvl 5x, nobody would have found them remarkable in the slightest. A lot of old-school high levels had funky or simple names, but they were at the top of the game, and for the most part their personalities and mannerisms were not those of idiots.

I'd rather interact with somebody that has an unremarkable name but who is sane and articulate, than somebody that's got a good name but acts like a lvl 14x infant. You respect the person, not the name.

I hate IGNs of couples that are [animal/object/color/etc.]GF/BF. e.g. PandaBF/PandaGF. Gag me. Usually smega whores and/or Hene hoes.

And BMs that have "sniper" in their IGN. Bugs the crap out of me.
