There are enough real issues and real inequities, who gives a flying gerbils ass if there aren't homos shown in a random scifi/fantasy movie? Unless they have a scene where gayness was "cured" explaining that's why there aren't any it's just irrelevant.

Again, agreed with completely. There are a plethora of LGBT issues worth fighting for than the inclusion of such peoples into every major motion picture put out by Hollywood. Hell, this group of homos is fighting a sector of the American public that actually SUPPORTS LGBT issues. If anything we should thank Hollywood for their progressiveness.

Not every gay guy is a cosmo-drinking, Alexander McQueen-wearing, musical theatre obsessing 'mo (though I am teehee). Similarly, not every black person's speech identifies as ebonics nor is every person of Middle Eastern descent a terrorist.

In other words, there are groups/factions in every distinct population. This is not a "mass-gay protest." It's just one tiny sliver of gays "doing it wrong."

I don't understand how they know there are no LGBT characters in the movie, to be honest. Do they have to display false lisps and flamboyancy in order to count? Dumbledore was gay. No one would've known if Rowling hadn't said anything. God forbid, we should ever act like anyone else would and not let our sexualities define us as individuals.

Dude, don't read too much over that phrase. I'm pretty aware they're just a faction between gays. I have a lot of gay friends (two in this forum) and I can clearly recognize different groups. I was joking.
