#1
How fast was galloperas leech for a leecher before the patch that nerfed leeching? Can anyone tell me the exact rates in exp/hr and specify 1x/2x/4x? Don't tell me levels gained in X time, please.

My brother got around 40% in a half an hour of family 2x from early to mid 9x. So around 2.5-3mil an hour. He was 2-hitting them with his 110 Blaze Wizard, if that is of importance.

Wouldn't be wise to ask this here since I doubt any Southperrican leeches.

Umm my account in a certain other site got banned. Besides I'm not leeching myself. I am helping a friend level.

Friend's current exp gain on 1x * 2 = Exp with old exp formula.

If it's Sleepywood you got banned from, you can say that name here, as long as you don't directly bash their forum, like call them a bunch of ****** or something.

And not too many people calculated leech rates on Southperry, since this site generally frowned upon leeching, so I doubt too many people have the answers you're looking for.

Galloperas, before the patch, were about 30mins per level on 2x at level 9x with a 2 hitting Bishop. They have 43k or so HP.

I don't really know why people are so anal about leeching... I think I've trained more than almost all anti-leech people and fail to see why it's all that bad. Being leeched is the result of hard work training a character that can leech, merchanting for meso, or building connections. Nobody gets leeched without putting some effort in the game. Some have chosen to train directly, and some haven't. Besides you can't really tell if somebody has been leeched unless you know the person's history or something. And unfortunately, hard work training is not really recognized anyway.

Oh I thought sleepywood was a banned word. I guess I'll create another mult on sleepywood. Hurt

In other words ~10m exp per hr on 4x? Thank you very much for the rate. F222

There are not many banned words on Southperry. Just words that get changed by script like pineapple (f'uck) and pomegranate (sh't) for "comical" purposes.

Most of us do dislike sleepywood. Paul just wasn't as dumb as adura to go to as great a length that he did in blocking the other.

You can curse. It isn't against the rules.

I don't really dislike sleepywood even though I'm banned because I get pro tips there, ya know. Rolleyes

I can't get as many answers here unfortunately, but what choice do I have. I can't post on sleepywood for some weird reason.

Did they IP block you? Because I don't see why you couldn't make a covert account to get back in.

Most of us were banned from Sleepywood at one point or another, but if you hang around here for a bit, you'll see that this site has its uses.

Yeah they probably IP blocked me then. IP blocking is when you post on sw.net and stuff shows up while you are logged in & doesn't show up when you log out, right?

That's a global ignore, I think.

It's a global ignore. Just reset your router (may take awhile depending on how long you have had your IP address) or make a new user profile on your computer. Either or will fix it. Mods there are lazy as pineapple.

In an attempt not to bring up the dead horse, I'll answer this question:
Kevo Wrote:I don't really know why people are so anal about leeching...
If it's a question at all.

So,
Kevo Wrote:I think I've trained mor- bla bla bla
Pretty much sums it up.

What are you trying to say here exactly? And you claim you're not trying to bring back the leeching debate but what you're doing is provoking to bring the argument back.

Are you implying there is zero hypocrisy behind those words? I'm positive most people would love a high level character, even if it were leeched. Despite what they say.

So please, for the sake of keeping said horse dead for good, explain why leeching is so bad. Why does pride of having a trained character important so much in this game?

The point of this game is to enjoy yourself. If leeching brings enjoyment then why does it really matter? The "spirit" of the game is to have fun, that's why we all started this game in the first place.

And despite what you think, I have trained a lot in this game - since right after Beta. I can see your point of view that people are leveling so fast with little effort and that the leeched player may become so unskilled and lack motivation at later levels. This may be true, but why does it matter to you? It's not your character, you are not being affected by their demotivation.

Maybe it's like a math problem. There's many methods to reach the answer. Is it bad for one person to use formulas instead of deriving the formulas to answer the problem?

Again, please tell me why it's so wrong. Why is it so bad that you have to be so hostile towards other people who don't necessarily share your perspectives in this game? Thanks.

I was trying to say exactly what I said: Those are all your opinions. Leeching is good for you and thousands other people, leeching is bad for me and other thousands of people.

This thread isn't for leeching discussion, much less for the drama attached to it. No one ever brought up anything about leeching being oh-so-condemnable when you jumped out of your seat and defend your kind against us "anal" people. If you do realize each person is entitled to their own opinions, it's best to agree to disagree here and let the sleeping dog lie, which is exactly what I expected to be inferred from previous post.
