Not really, the quests are pretty easy.

Took me an hour, from level 1-18, including all the new quests, to get one on a Warrior and a Magician. The latter completely unfunded. Just remember, the Warrior one is the only one an Aran can use.

How do you get the gloves,shoes, and weapon?
And are those karma-able?

To my knowledge nobody has the gloves/shoes.

Weapons are from Astaroth which anyone under level 40 can fight. You just need a Wild Boar Gas Mask (buy/steal it from an adventurer)


Also worth noting that the stats listed above are incorrect, they have 1/2 those numbers.

Just the STR/DEX/INT/LUK are halved, everything else is the same.

Yes, my Brawler started and finished them at level 38.

You have to have done the first job training quests though (which I think are only available 10-30?) That is the 4 quests from your instructor at level 10-14.

Is Karma'd gear transferable via Bank?

Yes, Hazzy. That counts as a transaction, so the karma effect goes away.
