Whiskey + _____ = ?

I'm sure everybody has mixed their favorite brand of whiskey with Pepsi or Coke, right? Has anybody else besides me tried "WILD TURKEY" (101 proof) with rootbeer? I mean, holy sh't, whiskey with rootbeer is the BEST tasting thing in the world, no joke. Anybody else tried anything 'different' from the usual? Tempted to try Ginger Ale or Sprite with Whiskey.

Sadly, I have no rum. I only have Dry Gin, Whiskey, Tequila mix, Jager, Smirnoff, and Brandy in my house. ):

That's a new one. I've done Jager with Red Bull TONS, but never Whiskey with Red Bull. I'm writing this sh't all down and trying it some day, guys. Just saying.
