I know ive heard someone talk about this somewhere, i thought it was here, but someone said they trained at typhoons, and im not sure how this would be done on a marauder, but i'd like to know if it's an option
Edit: Sorry once again on nibness, i see the training refrence has it as good exp for 100+, i still would like to know how this is done
I'd delete the thread if i knew how :x

Once you've lured them you just have to use sommersault kick to charge up and then blast away, something important that you should know is that they have high avoid, so I wouldn't really recommend going there until you're 90+

if you have a good miss to hit ratio
it's still awesome training. if you miss like 80% of the time, it's still good training (you could always go to gobies if you take the stun mastery next route). I went here at 95, so you may want to wait till then unless you have nice accuracy gears.

It's a great money+pot saver and all but, in my opinion, it's a crappy spot. It's hard to avoid falling for me(which screws up the %) and how you have to lure (which also takes time).
Back to the topic:
*If you have a mount it's easier to lure the typhons.
*Csb=love. Don't stop moving or those things will blow you off
*Drainnn. You basically waste no pots at all siding with the fact that typhons hit between ~400 between the ~16xx-18xx that Himes hit
I really think Himes would be better for you though. There's still potsaving tricks and they have great drops(earring dex 70, Green Scarab, Cape for Str,etc).

Some luring up in there.

I train there around my 85+, it was great. I missed alot and didnt even think to use amorian baskets. You basically will use a combo of CSB to hook and get pulled along to the platforms, and then use somersault to aggro the mob. The middle platform is normally where you will stay, but if you are able to stay up while attacking you can get charge filled and use blast to kill at the three top grouping areas. Which layout like this
____________platform_________________
________________|_____________platform
platform_________|____________________
____________rope|____________________
________________|____________________
________________|____________________
__________platform____________________
They normally mob at the top three, along with a few at the upper most portal, and some at the bottom portal. If you have a slower connection, or there is a delay in it (some satellite connections do) there is a small issue that some people have where youll basically have your charge expire on the server side, and by the time it reaches your side, there would already be more charge, and it will DC you. Its very annoying and happens other places, but its just a fair warning.
%/hr wise, I couldnt really say, i mostly trained here on 2x cards because it was much faster than Windraiders. I also trained here during the 16 hour 2x event last anniversary, and iirc, i used 1 4 hour 2x card also, and got somewhere between 7 and 9 levels in about 6 hours or so.
