Funny thing is, I don't care much for the originals of Fury Sparks, Fighting of the Spirit, or Ring A Bell all that much. O.o (The last one is an original)

I don't get what the big hype about this game is. It doesn't seem that good.

All Tales games (except Symphonia 2) are good. Nothing more needs to be said.

It was good only after a couple playthroughs, and from then on, it reminded me of Eternia, but in a BAD way. The story was very nice, the thing I disliked was that it was too oriented towards children. What made the game nice was probably SHEENA and ZELOS, and maybe LLOYD and KRATOS. Colette f'cking made me rage. Worse than Meredy from Eternia, even though I love Eternia. Christ!

The only thing the other ones have that Symphonia doesn't is an unnecessary amount of sexual references within the skits, and with the way they're executed, are hardly anything above kiddie.

That's only 1 out of god knows how many parts you missed out on. I was talking about the battle-system, Hi-Ougi execution, story, and character-development. Symphonia is one of the few Tales that you cannot execute a "chained-hi ougi". I mean, holy sh't, even Eternia has chained-Mystic Artes. For references, look up "Maxwell Extension". If not, look up ToD remake extensions. |
