To all bowmen: Safety Charms

I don't normally grab them, but I was planning to get one when crimsonwood is released because I get the feeling I'm going t be killed there at least once.

Better just level to 0%. I know I'm going to die, maybe even on purpose

Don't use them at all since I generally don't have NX. I don't merchant and haven't bought a card since last October so my NX supply is very limited. With what I have only 2 things NX wise are important to me; a basic permit and my NX shades.

But asides from that, even if I did get a new supply of NX, I would not waste it on these for 2 other reasons. 1. I really am starting to notice how much I need more equip and etc. slots. and 2. I stopped caring about leveling when I made it to third job (example: I hit lvl 90 at midnight on new years and now 8 months later am lvl 97 o.O, and that is being on once every 3 days at least).

Well, see I level'd to 127 and was going to wait for the next patch but for one reason or another, Im at 70% now so... yeah x_X guess I'll go gain the last 30% some time before the patch hopefully, lololo

At the rate it's taking Nexon to give us this patch, you might have time.

I've used em on and off since they were released.
Currently though I bought a pack of five for the heavy grinding I gotta do in the next few weeks.

But like most times I'll use em up relitivly quickly or not use em till the last 30 days.
I really gotta keep an eye out on when they expire.

I only really die when I'm messing around these days. Like the time I tried Nest Golems wearing nothing but a war bow..

I die mostly at Newtie top spot, if I dont pay attention. I still dont give up and its my favorite spot. Every time my charms will run out I'll buy 3 60% glove attack scrolls in FM and sell them in MTS for charm money.. I live in a place with no NX cards, and parents hate this game so they wont let me use their CC even if I pay them back.

I used a ton of Safety Charms through 130-14x. I don't use them anymore, though. I stopped using them once I started training at Skeles with Auto HP pot. It's so rare that I die that it's just not worth it.

100+. Don't remember exactly when though. It was around when multiple layers were added and there were tons of BS deaths that had nothing to do with me doing anything wrong and everything to do with the horrible curse filter that still hasn't been fixed/adjusted. I use them now mostly because I lose 35m experience if I die.

You can prevent the screen lockup by having your quest helper thingy/other skill window open. I have my quest helper cause its the least obtrusive but other windows work too. An old friend of mine taught me that back in the day when I was super annoyed by it and always almost dying at gobies at 9x, lols.

And I somehow got to 80% now >_>

I think Squids is a good time to start using charms. (8x) My first several days at Squids, I was dying as much as 7 times per four hours. That's because I was used to fairly easy maps such as STDs and Water Goblins, and come to Squids I was hunting monsters that 2hkoed me.

I just wear safety charms when I am like 70% and up but that rarely happens cuz I never train lol jk. Now that I have 2.5k hp (lvl 97) I can go train at gobies with no worries (1 hit = 1 barb) so I don't grab any SC anymore. yay!

I've been using it for a while now. Losing exp is a HUGE pain once past 110 or so.

You really don't get hit a lot on the bottom of Newties if you have decent level of Hawk. In fact, I feel that I use more pots doing middle than bottom because of Hawk not syncing up with the spawns.

On topic: I used charms since 9x at Gobies.
