Jung Typeology Test

Quote:ISTJs are characterized by decisiveness in practical affairs, are guardians of time-honored institutions, and, if only one adjective could be selected, dependable would best describe this type which represents about 6 percent of the general population. The word of ISTJ's is their bond, and they experience great uneasiness by thought of a bankrupt nation, state, institution, or family.

Whether at home or at work, this type is rather quiet and serious. ISTJs are extraordinarily persevering and dependable. The thought of dishonoring a contract would appall a person of this type. When they give their, they give honor. ISTJs can be counted on to conserve the resources of the institution they serve and bring to their work a practical point of view. They perform their duties without flourish or fan fare; therefore, the dedication they bring to their work can go unnoticed and unappreciated.

Sounds pretty accurate.

I'm INFJ apparently. I remember I took this awhile back and I got INFJ, too.

I find that this article most accurately describes my personality in correlation with INFJ. It really is creepily accurate. Confused

Guardian Protector... sums me up quite nicely.

Quote:ISFJs are characterized above all by their desire to serve others, their "need to be needed." In extreme cases, this need is so strong that standard give-and-take relationships are deeply unsatisfying to them; however, most ISFJs find more than enough with which to occupy themselves within the framework of a normal life. (Since ISFJs, like all SJs, are very much bound by the prevailing social conventions, their form of "service" is likely to exclude any elements of moral or political controversy; they specialize in the local, the personal, and the practical.)

It's almost scary how accurate the description of this is.

Kinda of strange I also got INFJ Biggrin *High Fives*

Idealist Portrait of the Counselor (INFJ)

* distinctively expressed introvert-Yes
* moderately expressed intuitive personality-Yes
* moderately expressed feeling personality-Yes
* moderately expressed judging personality-Yes

So it got me with that.

Then i saw this
"These are the people that you can rarely fool any of the time." and I lauhged, because I'm gullible most of the time.

For the Careers it said Teacher and a Scientist, I always wanted to be a Biology/Chemistry Teacher Biggrin.

happy with my results Big Grin. Glitter

Got this result too.

ISFJ

Introverted - 33
Sensing - 25
Feeling - 62
Judging - 1

A lot of the description is spot on, but there are parts that are flat out wrong in describing my personality. It said that I'd "abhor the squandering or misuse of money," but I am constantly shopping for things I don't need. :<

Big Grin *high 5's* I really can't be fooled easily in real life, but over the internet, that's a bit different. But usually people can't fool me. I knew Santa wasn't real when I was 7 and I played along with it for a long time. Sad

I also want to be a scientist, but I don't know about teaching. If anything I would want to be a college professor, and nothing under high school for sure.

The one thing that got me was the description of being stubborn. I only get moderately stubborn when I feel extremely passionate about something, usually injustice or ignorance. Everything else is really spot on. Glad to have an INFJ buddy! Goggleemoticon

ISTJ. I did this for my personality testing for my career development Freshman Seminar class. I don't remember much about it, but I remember my results because I found it in my notes the other day xD.

Bolded gives the best descriptions. I haven't had enough serious jobs to consider the latter statements.
