WAIT, what happened to that annoying Jigglypuff from the Pokemon anime?!?! It stopped showing up after the Johto season or something.. Does anybody know what happened? I'm rather puzzled, myself. One of the MANY mysteries!!!

[The GS Ball] presumably still resides [in Azalea Town] to this day, and its purpose was, before 2008, unknown. In an interview with Masamitsu Hidaka in 2008 by the webmaster of PokéBeach, it was explained that the GS Ball was meant to contain a Celebi that was to be the star of a large arc of the Johto saga. However, it was decided that Celebi would be the star of the fourth movie, so the story arc was viewed as redundant and shelved. The ball was left with Kurt with the hopes that viewers would eventually forget about it.

I assume that is the fate of Jiggly. Though Jigglypuff had a great subplot. The quest of it trying to find someone who wouldn't fall asleep to its singing is more interesting than some kid who keeps letting go of his pokemons after it gets powerful and obedient.

Agreed, bro. I'm just sick of how they just don't find a way to TIE UP LOOSE ENDS or something, they just hope people forgets about it. Pretty dumb way to do things, IMO. <_< Here's an interesting thing, you know how when Ash released Pidgeot? You'd assume when he comes back to NEAR Pallet Town, that he MIGHT see his Pidgeot. Or even THINKS about his Pidgeot, but NO! ):

It was stated that the GS ball was supposed to be the start of a Celebi arc in Jhoto, but they decided to drop it since Celebi was receiving its own movie. So they decided to just put it in the past and hope viewers forget about it. It's not like that's the first time they've done that kinda thing.

It seems that the anime hates continuity, and would rather "reset" the plot every now and then. the most they do is a brief 1 episode cameo where an old character comes back just to please the fans, but then leaves for one reason or another.
