[1.2.270] New Weapon Types - New PQ - stronger Evan
I'm assuming the skill only works in that map so as to prevent people from abusing it.

Okay, interesting notice here for Knuckles:

Untradeable (Platinum Scissors of Karma can be used)
REQ STR: 285
REQ DEX: 105
Weapon Attack: +76
STR: +1
Accuracy: +1
Durability: 25000
Speed: Fast (5)
7 Slots

Mob Category: Animal Type (1)
Mob Category Damage: 20%

Special Skill: Stun
Required Hands: 400

Critical Damage: 20%; 5% probability
Required Job: Viper

* ( Lev. 105 ) 총 : 템페스트

The bolded part, what do they mean by Special Skill: Stun? Does it mean the stun status will be applied to a monster regardless of whether they are a boss or not so the bonus damage from Stun Mastery will be applied too bosses, or it means all skills will stun? If the former, that will utterly fix Buccaneer damage at bosses. If the latter, training just got too easy.

Pretty sure it makes all skills stun at a 10% (?) rate.

I don't think it's stun. Rather, the skill description in Korean says 'instant death'.

That's really interesting.

EDIT: Oh wait, I noticed that Illegally was talking about the Knuckle while your link had screenshots of the Gun. It states on Spadow's blog that the gun is instant death.

Instant death would be interesting with rapid fire.

Oh lol.....
The name of the Gun ↓

* ( Lev. 105 ) 총 : 템페스트

was accidentally attached at the bottom of the original post, so I assumed that it was the gun. My bad.

Indeed. But then, the 'Durability' of the weapon decreases with every shot, and the new weapons cost a LOT of money to repair......
I'm rather curious about whether rapid fire would work or not. The person who posted the 'instant death' post on insoya was not at a high enough level to test this.

The effect on the staff kind of interests me. While it is pretty self-explanatory, getting healed after every kill is definitely a plus.

What doesn't make sense to me is why the bow has the elemental bonus.

It would be a plus, but then 50 HP is not that much.....
The 5% critical is a bigger bonus.

The bow has the fire bonus..to help with fire shot?

Actually i didn't think about mob skills at all when i posted.

....

HOLY S'HIT BLAZE + COOLING COMBO ACTUALLY HAS A USE NOW.

How much does it take to repair?

Takebacker Wrote:How much does it take to repair?

about 500000 mesos for every percent of Durability

It costs about 427770 to repair a weapon w/ 99% durability.

1% of durability decreases for every 155~200 attacks the char uses
0.2% of durability is lost every time a char dies.

Flamethrower and Ice Splitter != combo. People who think you're supposed to stand still and alternately spam the two are retarded. And what do you mean they have a use now? Spamming skills hoping to trigger an instant death is slower than straight up killing.

@above: so 2,759 mesos to use an attack. Not worth it.

...Even 50k mesos per % would add up to a lot. >_>

@ above: You misunderstood completely.

I meant alternating the two as you moved through the air.

so 5m per 10%
50m for 100%...

How fast does this thing's durability drain? .1% per attack? (I REALLY hope not) >< That'd be like... 170 seconds of rapid shot 0.o

Mmm... 50 HP is quite a bit for a mage. The 5% critical isn't as appealing because, well, it's 5%. We see that Evan's have a hard enough time hitting their 25% criticals, just think of how hard it will be for F/P's to get a 5% critical off.

1% every 155 attacks, as Serendipity has said above.

I figured 20k durability = 20k shots.

*Sees the cost of repairing*

Well, looks like there's another bunch of piece of crap equips I won't bother with getting Rolleyes.

The whole durability thing is stupid, unless they lower the cost of repairs.

But I'm more pissed at "Platinum Karma Scissors". I mean, what the pineapple? Making Medals tradeable? What's the point in even working for that kind of stuff anymore? It doesn't make me feel good that I worked my ass off for the Quest Specialist Medal, and now people are able to just waltz through the FM and buy it off a merchant for a steep price. It's not only that that pisses me off, it's the fact that they went so far as to label other certain items as only being tradeable with the Platinum Scissors, rather than regular. The Crimsonwood-ish weapons for example, they're Untradeable like Z-Helms or whatever, but require Platinum to be traded.

I heard that the ability to trade Mounts/Saddles, Medals and such was an accidental glitch... and I hope that's true.

More like it BETTER be true. If medals become tradeable by any means, I will rage something fierce. That completely destroys the whole point of them.

I'm fascinated seeing durability on equips coming to Maplestory. Why is the repair cost so high, though... What the hell? lol I would never use them at that steep cost.

For the love of god, if that could get me a wolf or an evan dragon mount... Hell yes! Thanks you for the fish!

Guess it would be better if it made em tradeable only by account like the Lirin ring.
