Random HP distribution

How does this work?

My friend and I are both unwashed NL @ level 132...I have around 100 more BASE hp than him

so how does this work? o.o

Exactly as the title of your topic imply, the HP you get at lvl up has a random factor, and that varies with a few HP points.

I'd guess it's an uniform distribution, if that's what you are asking.

HP/level: 20-24

Main difference tends to be visible by level 30. The first 2 jobs add a huge range (afaik 300-400 or something) and players can easily end up far apart.

If you have a pic at level 30, compare your hp to his then. My NL has had more HP than most other ones since around then. At level 126, my NL has 4060 hp with gear and stuff - my base should be around 3200 if I hadn't spend points on HP.
