In this case it's very much a matter of different strokes for different folks. If you're referring to the "majority" then that's very hard to pin, and I've found it to actually be more common some places than others. For instance, for some reason I've noticed Florida has a lot of girls who are really into gay guys. However, it could just be a coincidence that every girl I know who's from Florida is like that.

Here in NY, there's a pretty big mix. There's quite a few who are into it, and others who simply find the thought disgusting.

That's because of the double standards that exist. For instance, if two girls share a very intimate night with each other, and then after find out they didn't enjoy it as much, then it's okay. They can put it behind them and wouldn't be marked as "gay" by everyone because they didn't like it in the end and just stuck with dating guys.

However, if a guy were to try experimenting with an other guy, he's usually marked as gay for even thinking about doing so.

Because of this, guys are usually more distanced from their male friends than girls are with each other. Girls can kiss each other on the cheek freely as a greeting. Guys...er, not so much. People will often look at is as very gay for guys to do that, but think nothing at all for girls to do so.

Girls can refer to each other as "girlfriends". Guys don't usually say "me and my boyfriends were playing some Cawk of doodie last night!"

It's these double standards that make it seem as if lots of girls are bi deep inside. Really, it's more because society gives girls more freedom to show friendly love with each other.
