Well, you can just go 2 pixels below the eyes and smash away, and jump every time they go in super armor state to avoid the knock thing...

Isn't Dogrie pretty simple if you catch him in a Weapon Uppercut and just smash at him and continue Uppercutting since its cooldown is so short? Puppet control shouldn't be so hard at all to deal with since he really doesn't do anything (though I've seen that fire pillar crap done while he's controlling, but just backstep) and you can just jump and hit him if he's up in the air or somethin'.

As a summoner, the hardest part of floating tower is the chandelier goblin. More time-consuming than hard.
Isadora is not fun, her fire completely mows down my summons in no time, and I can't judge the AOE when she uses spirit sacrifice since my spirits and her's look almost identical. Not really looking forward to go back in and kill her 3 times on Masters. Hydracle is easy though. Harder to kill him when he's small so I have to let him expand then unload everything.

Puppet control always mess me up, and im not the kind of person that screws up badly against confuse type skills, but dogrie just gets me on a bad spot every time... once he puppet'd me while HE WAS IN THE CEILING AFTER I USED UPPERCUT... that pomegranate killed me in no time... he would puppet me over and over while in the air... i wish i took a screen of that... was frustrating/hilarious xd

GBL Arad Branch is fairly easy for me as long as the summons are taken care of, and I still need to unlock King's for Lab. I'm 39, so I've got nothing better to do. :/ Just message me when I'm on I guess.

Should I try to find an Expert Floating party or finish all of my fatigue off with potfarming runs?

Apostasy pretty much requires a party. Thunderime is simple, but can easily get overwhelming. Aphelia is a blast (but will suck for a Soul Bender, since we specialize in Dark/Ice damage).

I just went through second spine today on Asura. That sucked lol. At least there's no blimps. Btw, how does the hyper jammer quest work? I keep getting those capsules from the goblin merchant, but all it gave me were 2 oxidized substances and 1 defect chip. Do I have to keep doing it til I get the chip I want?

First Spine is easy as hell until I get to the boss. I only fought him once so far, but he kicked my ass. The spinning attack where he goes invincible and flies around the screen faster than I can move killed me in two hits. What the hell am I supposed to do?
2009-12-02, 12:19 PM
You can knock him out of that. Normally I just charge a Crucifix Wind and throw it at him and it cancels that attack as soon as it starts moving.
2009-12-02, 01:44 PM
Yeah try to use either a long range atk or aoe or something that gives you superarmor/invincibility so you will be able to hit him and stop him from doing that.

My battle mage build for lvl 60, I'm not sure if to leave it like that, or go pole... Spear would maximize my critical damage since i already have the critical passive D: But pole would work great for pvp thanks to the speed it has... Or i could go spear mastery and just use a pole for pvp... xd

Zephyr Wrote:http://www.aradsociety.com/planner/?clas...iwTixJfxIh Personally I'm probably going to go pole, and use a spear for dungeons. Also, I've heard that most people get disenchant to lvl 4, because it removes 2 buffs or something. I'll still have to play around with my build.

For DnF, which skills are free? I was under the impression it was only your starter launching move cancel, quick rebound and backstep + cancel.
Anyways on your BM build, take note that in later levels (50+) compared to spears, pole bonuses SUCK. Judging from the fact that I still see the majority of the high end korean BMs use poles for pvp, they cannot hit the attack speed cap with a spear. So I'd guess poles are still more viable for pvp. On the same spectrum, I've honestly seen little pole action in pve lol. I'll probably get pole mastery and use spears for PvE. Really, even though BM's physical attacks are percentage based, chasers generate a large portion of my dps so I don't mind not having spear mastery maxed :/ (for Pve). http://zoome.jp/seinstierl/diary/11 (shows how fast a spear can be although judging from her skillbar and chasers, she's a PvE build) A couple questions, any reason for dragon fang 10 and meteor dash 8? I honestly don't use fang in pvp that much even while I'm comboing. Mediocre poke but it's not completely useless, but I'll leave it at 5 for now. On a general note, our middle tier cube skills aren't that great, especially since their damage scaling per level is pretty trash. PvE wise, they're considered some of the worst cube skills lol (Meteor does have more uses than punto). Hell, even dragon spear doesn't scale that well, but we want that as high as possible since it's such an awesome combo finisher . Since you're playing DnF, I assume the added hit recovery in pvp (no more garbage infinite combos =_=) is there so it makes light chasers even MORE important. Incredible juggle tool that allows BMs to continue to perform monstrous combos even after the mechanic change. So you want them out as much as possible. On another note, I honestly don't think fire chaser is that good :/. I have one level of it just to have another chaser for PvE but I always turn it off for PvP. It forces you to end your combo sooner if you can't properly reset your launch (which is pretty hard <_<) and I could live without the str buff :/. Iffy about water too and shadow just fails <_< (not because of the crit bonus but the weirdass properties it has when you connect with it). I would definitely get at least stab cancel since it can lead into some very useful combos and palm cancel is a meh for me. Great escape and mobility tool tough imo. I'm not completely sure yet myself, but I might max neutral chaser (20% speed buff is sexy ). Getting it off is harder but chaser generator fixes that pretty well. You can also TRY and use chaser press to get the movement buff but....lol, good luck getting that off <_<. I'm getting at least level four chaser generator since I want a big supply of light chasers.Like the previous poster above me, definitely get at least 4 disenchant (If you can get level 10 in your version, get it). Being able to debuff multiple buffs at a time heavily increases the chance to debuff the buff(s) you want. Also I believe in your version, BMs can get mana shield 15 (not sure how this works, since other classes can get mana shield 10) which is SEXY. So definitely save 100 points for that if you can. Also, phase shift. I hate using this skill to escape simply because it's such an amazing skill to start a combo with. Teleport during a long recovery move and you pretty much get a free launcher. Granted, level one CAN do it but that .5 immobility period is really noticeable + the buff is awesome <_<. That's pretty much all from me for now, good luck fellow BM :S.

Max mana shield is 10 for us I think.
Also how do you turn off chasers? I didn't see anything about turning off skills. And is there a way to launch an opponent off the ground again after a stabbing wheel?

If it works how I think it does, go into your skill window and right click it if it's a passive.
