Everyone, when it says Hero's Only, that applies only to the critical buff - not to the weapon itself. A paladin could still equip the item but wouldn't get the buff. Also, you must understand that these items are in testing and will likely change.
Also, regarding the Spirit/Soul, Undead, and mob categories - that was implemented a patch or two ago. I used the category names posted by Racie to come up with the names used in this topic.
Tikey Wrote:If that Arcanon had an elemental advantage, I would totally use it. Too bad the 5%, +20% critical doesn't seem too appealing.
Right now it probably doesn't, though i can see them adding this to lv 130 weapons when we get them. Just with a higher bonus. +10% chance for +40% damage is a LOT for a class with base crit, even for me.
1) WHY THE F'UCK DOES THE KNUCKLE REQUIRE 400 HANDS? THAT'S RIDICULOUS.
2) If that arcglaive is the same speed as it normally is, arans will eat that s'hit up.
THE KNUCKLE DOES NOT REQUIRE 400 HANDS. THE BONUS REQUIRES 400 HANDS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 400 HANDS, YOU DO NOT GET THE BONUS, BUT YOU CAN STILL EQUIP THE DAMN THING.
There are a few holes I have yet to fill in with the Character.wz data. One of them concerns the Arcanon.
There is a new kind of addition to the weapon. It looks like this:
The first line is saying "Apply this benefit if you have 400 hands". The second benefit eludes me. Okay... kill a mob and receive 50 HP? It doesn't quite make sense.
Also, there's another effect I don't quite understand (this one isn't part of the Arcanon):

Minor mistake. My bad.
Still. It's ridiculous.

Even with 400 hands, it's pretty ridiculous for a Marauder/Buccaneer. They'd have like, probably around 100 hands at the most unless they change the formula.
And as for the "kill a mob and receive 50 HP", it does make sense as far as I know. 50 Regen per kill? Not that much, but if you kill tons, you'll heal a s'hit ton.

I only have ~230 hands (don't remember exact number) at level 149. They're going to make a bonus on a 105 weapon require a stat that i won't have unless i put all my AP into dex for the next 35 levels?

Is it just me, or are the different versions of MS giong out of their way to be different from one another now? In certain regards, KMS, GMS, and JMS are increasingly unrecognizable from one another...
Remember it's still in Tespia. Plenty of time for things to change. If no Buc has enough hands to get the bonus i'm sure they will lower it.

I really like it. Well JMS was always different from KMS really, but GMS has definitely broken away from KMS a lot in recent years.
