Currently Airing Anime
Plan to watch:
-Durarara
-Dance in the Vampire Bund (best of the bunch)
-SoRaNoWoTo (seems unique)
-Katanagatari (doesn't sound as good as the rest, but being by Bakemonogatari's author is worth checking out)
-Probably going to watch Hidden God after the whole thing is aired.

Nyan Koi 8: I'm happy I finally have time to watch this. All is great as always, but the music in this episode really stood out to me, especially the one playing while Micchi demonstrated his wonderful ability to catch sparrows (I feel like I should be able to name it, but I can't, help me out here) and the one when Nagi pulled Kousaka aside. Kotone's voice is so ..! The training slideshow were awesome too. The kiss scene was cute.

Trapeze 6: Ah, so these are happening at the same time after all. The nurse looked really weird at the end.

Katanagatari
Hidden God

Looks like Winter 2010 is going to be slow, hopefully a more updated version 2 comes out later.

id like to watch dance in the vampire bund for sure, if you havent seen the manga go check it, pretty good once you get past the "lolicon" which isnt that much or tasteless.

Currently watching:

-Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
-Konokon*
-Kiss x Sis**
-Naruto (sorta.. but not very much, more so reading the manga, if anything)

* = My opinion of Konokon, well, it's a rather 'mature'-rated anime for the nudity, but there's a censored version of Konokon online, which is nice. Uncensored or not, it has a very nice story to it (which I won't discuss for the sake of not spoiling anyone's fun). There are some scenes with nudity, the characters are very nicely designed and thought-of. I love Chizuru, she's just friggin adorable, one of the best anime female characters (though not the best with my 'top tier') due to her loving personality and unique ways to get her man.

** = Kiss X Sis should be ... uber close to Hentai, seriously. Lots of boobage, boob-grabbing, kissing, you can actually see the saliva when they kiss and wrap their tongues around and everything. The story is also very nice, I love how the characters are just so funny and competitive, especially the sisters.

Summer Wars: I enjoyed this movie a lot. How everything was executed story-wise was excellent and the VAs and cast were enjoyable, not to mention it had that tight-knit family aspect to it. I hope Director Hosada does more movies of this aptitude. Smile

Woo, more from Shaft. This is good.

I'm planning on watching:

- Katanagatari (the art on this seems pretty amazing)
- Dance on the Vampire Bund
- Durarara!!

I'm sure like always I'll end up watching this when we're in the spring season. I procastinate too much :/

I'm planning on watching:

-Katanagatari. Same author as Bakemonogatari, so it may be interesting. The 15 second promo also looked pretty sweet.
The art style looks unique and pretty interesting. It looks like it'll be coming at a pace of one episode per month; because it's only got 12 episodes and it's running from January to December. I hope that gives the animators more time to do a good job too.
 Spoiler
-Durarara. Same author as Baccano. Not sure what to make of the synopsis though, and the one written on MAL makes me uncertain; but I'm going to try to watch anyways.
 Spoiler
-Dance in the Vampire Bund. Shaft's doing this one, so therefore, it must be worth checking out.

Teaser isn't that special; but cool: a loli vampire decapitating a guy and a werewolf biting of some creature's head, and this is just the trailer! This is how vampires and werewolves should be done.

If I decide to watch through Nodame Cantabile+Nodame Cantabile Pari Hen and the first two seasons of Hidamari Sketch, then I may just decide to check the sequels out.

I'll latch onto anything that people consider good when the season comes around, probably.

Railgun 8: And here's the main plot. The fight around the later half of the episode was pretty sweet.

Katanagatari's art style looks impressive. I'm definitely watching that.

So does Dance in the Vampire Bund. Worth checking out.

Yeah, I am also going to put Katanagatari on my watch list.

Fairy Tail 03:
Why the hell am I still watching this? Does it get better or does it stay a generic shonen forever?

It stays a generic shonen forever.

About Dance in the Vampire Bund, I wasn't expecting so much action and ripping off heads. The description sounded it was a story driven by more by diplomatic conversation and such. It still looks great though.

By the way, is anyone still watching Blue Literature? I have had 3 and 4 downloaded for a while now but I don't want to watch them if it's as slow and dragged out as before. And how about the second arc? Is that any better?

I feel this was one of the best episodes made up to this date. Not too rushed.

Umineko no naku koro ni - wtp is going on with this show? It's all over the damn place. Higurashi was pretty easy to understand, but this is just ridiculous. The show went to the future showing Ange as being alive and that crazy heir to the family aunt being alive too. She ends up admitting to the crimes in the 3rd world, and being the last one alive, but then beatrice uses red to say she's innocent?

yah im totally fkin lost

When did Beatrie say in read that Eva was innocent? That didn't happen.

Also, the odd pacing is due to the time constraints they had to put on the anime. Things are strung together a lot more logically in the SN. They didn't even say who was chasing Ange, how she was related to her, or anything like that (from what I remember). It's just like "Oh hey, Ange, this girl is after you. She's evil."

Then it tries to juggle Ange's long storyline without making each scene a whole episode long, which is hard to do and looks pretty chaotic when they jump from school Ange to investigating Ange to past Maria to etc.

Trying to find it now lol, but I did see something else that confuses the hell outta me. He uses his "blue truth" to say that Kinzo is already dead and that X could be the culprit. But........ Kinzo is still alive :f6:.

Umineko is a confusing show, but still entertaining~

I think Eva Beatrice said that Eva wasn't the culprit... but then once Beatrice denied witches, Eva said she was the culprit and apparently shot Battler?

Kinzo may already be dead, but in Beatrice's "witches do exist" version, he is alive and the victims are killed due to Kinzo's magic. So, Beatrice's version claims that magic exists, and therefore witches do too?

And a few episodes ago, didn't Maria defend Rosa for her behaviour to Ange? Then all of a sudden she wants revenge on Rosa and uses Beatrice's Endless power to kill her tons of times? I'm confused...zzz
Neither Eva nor Battler killed Nanjo, nor were they involved

The culprit who killed Nanjo was neither Battler nor Eva nor Jessica

Jessica's eyes were completely blocked, and murder was impossible for her

No actions caused by Jessica's body had any relation to or influence on the murder of Nanjo

This also applies to Battler and Eva

neither Jessica nor Battler nor Eva is the culprit who killed Nanjo

Nanjo was killed by another person

Of course, it was with a direct method of murder, not a trap

A weapon was readied, and he was killed with it from point-blank range in front of him!

The culprit appeared openly before Nanjo's eyes, and as they both looked at each other's faces, the culprit killed him

The one who killed Nanjo was definitely a human

A human, with their feet on the ground, held up a weapon and killed with it!

Right before his eyes!

It says she didn't kill Nanjo. It doesn't say anything about her not being the culprit of any other murder. It's just this specific murder that she has a red alibi for.

Also, blue truth is not the same as red. Blue truths are more like theories. They're true until proven otherwise with red. Don't mistake the blue for red.
Also, you'll see later on what's going on with the island.

Explained above.

Interesting train of thought. I won't spoil anything, so I'm leaving it as that.

They're different time frames and from different perspectives. I can tell you some theories about this, but those might be spoilerific. For now, just think of them as separate instances rather than joined into one. Think a bit about Ange and Maria's life. Think a bit about how Ange knows about Maria's life so much in depth.

It's a bit harder to piece together with the little cuts in detail here and there that the anime does.

Same, I don't mind being spoiled. I hate being kept in suspense...
