Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

Soo... I just did 8 PvP matches in beginner vagabond and lost all of them. I swear I'm not cut out for PvP at all. ._.

Yea, 1st spine is my favorite dungeon thus far. The boss fight is my absolute favorite one. Can't wait to get there on my SB.

That's good news, because Behemoth has been a total drag so far.

Outer Temple Wall - every monster just stands there, but takes a ton of damage to kill. Ugh Dragon Cannons. Most of dungeon is easy as hell, but accidentally caught by Octopus face grab and whacked by Lotus' Puppet = pretty much instant death.

Dendroid Jungle - I hate this dungeon. I was doing this with a Launcher and OH MY GOD he kept catching the plants on fire and nearly killing me. I got killed by the boss repeatedly because of the fire. We didn't fully figure out how I kept dying until like the 2nd run.

Purgatorium - this dungeon isn't too bad, but the Stalkers seem to have insanely high magic defense. They took me a long time to kill until I got Acid Rain. It's a big dungeon like Dendroid, though, and that means it takes a while to complete. Not a big deal, but I prefer the small dungeons.

Silver Night - this dungeon is bad for the same reason as Outer Temple Wall. Extremely easy, but the monsters take too long to kill.

Dendroid jungle... realize you're insta-killing yourself by using fire = shat bricks...

I liked outer temple though, enemies are so mob-able with my BM *~*

Yesterday I wanted to kill myself in the Jungle, so I summoned a bunch of Adors during the boss fight, had them blow up a bunch of those dendroids that plant those exploding plants, and walked into the explosions. Took 1911 damage.

From what I've seen, Soul Benders dominate the boss just as well with their Kazan+Bremen and Saya taking care of the summoned mobs. But you probably already knew that.

I also have a Demon Queller if you need that too. Chisakatana stats are Phys. Att 244 Magic Att. 261 STR 12 INT 19. Demon Queller stats are 272/311/11/19.

Can you still get old Avatar items from the Avatar tokens? I'm not a huge fan of the new ones(At least the Fighter ones).

Wow... witches comboing skills are stupid... even with dust on, i get slapped the f.uck off across the room... sucks to have cloth on...

At least when i change to battle mage i expect to be a little bit more heavier... but the stand recovery is so slow i get scrubbed down the floor ._.

Also i realized that even with pole expertise, getting the neutral chaser going on will be impossible if i can't even hit the opponent with a triple X combo... and tips on that? or should i lay off pvp till i get light chaser?

Wow, sets seem so hard to put together. I still need the Assaulter Pants to complete my set, and then when I'm 40, I can put my top and bottom on for a full set. >.< Anyways, I have items here, and just for you guys, I'll sell 'em cheap. :3

yeah I say either lay off pvp until light chasers or pvp without chasers for the moment.

It is possible to use xxx by using the third hit as a wide range kind of hit, like a smaller full swing, but it won't start any combos.[/COLOR]

Witches are pretty good at comboing o-o

I find leather to be a lot better if you expect to do a lot of meleeing. Cast speed for spells can be made up with avatars, and eventually there will be a patch that adds cast speed to leather armor for witches. There's not really any other reason to wear cloth as a witch.
