Person 1: Will he make it, his speed seems monstrously high.
Person 2: I don't think so, he's covered xxx mil exp in xxx days, he needs xx bil exp more with xx days left, theoretically, he's not going to make it.
Person 3: You also need to take into account the fact that he kills faster as he lvls higher.
Person 4: Don't forget all the exp Bonus
Person 5: He still might not make it, 19x will be hell.
...
Defendant: ME DO NOT HAZ NO LIFE LULZ WHAT R U TALKIN ABT?! ME IS SO SICK OF FLAMERS LEFT AND RIGHT. DUN ASSUME IF U DUN KNOW!!
Oh really now?
i chuckled at this, but hotshot has a point, everyone in asf forums is saying that he have no life. So it can be assumed that he thought we were saying the same here.

BombsAway Wrote:Also, dang these guys are going fast. Life sure will be swell for them after hitting 200. Bragging rig... oh wait, Maple.
BombsAway Wrote:Oh, a contest for a trip? Alright, that's a pretty decent reason. However, since they're sharing I expect to see some headlines about some sodomized bloody bodies being found slumped over in front of their computers.
You call these not flaming? Look at the english dude. Its literature, there's another reason behind it which is sarcasm.. He's trying to say i have no life except mapling
Hotshot Wrote:Sarah, let me explain his logic to you since you don't seem to get it.
This guy trains a hell of a lot, the rest of the time he sleeps and goes to school, he doesn't have time to do more than glance over forums, and apparently on maplesea (as he explained) a lot of people think he's a hacker or something for leveling so fast, give him a lot of crap about having no life, and so on. He did not come into this thread and read everyone's responses, he simply passed the message he left there onto here as well. He wrongly assumed we aren't any more mature than they are, but that's because he didn't have the time/interest to give this thread a full analysis. When you're trying to hit 200 in a month, that's more than excusable.
Second, about his comparision of leveling a 200 in two weeks (or whatever he said) compared to 4 years. Maybe you thought this was some direct attack against you and people who play the game for a long time, but it wasn't. He was making a simple analogy at why people shouldn't say he has no life, and maybe it wasn't perfect (since chances are he'll be spending almost as much time mapling after this character's 200), but the idea that should've gotten across is that a person playing on like 8-10x or whatever is going on there for 16 hours a day between two people and leveling fast spends less of his or her life on this game than a person who does most of his or her training on 1x and 2x over the course of months and years. It wasn't an attack, since he never said or even implied that people who played for 4 years have no life.
It has nothing to do with being a peach, the problem is you always assume the worst about people and groups of people, maybe society in general. Chill out and stop being so negative, people around you will be happier, and you will too.
Thank You. I shall not reply anymore, at least not about commenting others.

Making jokes about maple isn't making jokes about your real life. Making jokes about how two (we assumed it was three initially) people would split a single prize isn't making fun of your real life. CarrionCrow's post was made after your intial post defending yourself from nothing, as well. Stop acting like you're a victim HERE when you came in with your eyes closed and fists swinging.
I don't care what happens on the ASF forums, but if I were going to go post there you can bet your butter I'd make sure I read what people were saying first.
BombsAway Wrote:Maybe you should re-read my second paragraph because I explained exactly why it was "harsh" to him. He recognizes how it looks and is embarrassed about it. I get it, I felt the same thing when I was spending ridiculous amounts of time collecting monster cards. But he's putting his feelings off on other people by attacking their habits instead of acknowledging his own issues and that doesn't fly. Something like this only seems offensive if you know it's true.
Sorry, I'm not looking to spare someones feelings when they're completely unable to accept them. So if he feels bad about that, that's unfortunate. Maybe next time he won't call everyone else a no-lifer to cover up his own shame. This would be a non-issue if he hadn't brought it up in the first place because, as I said and is proven by looking through the posts in this topic, no one here even mentioned anything about him not having a life, so it's not like he was even defending himself.
And yeah, I'm aware that I'm a peach. I can accept that.
You evil peach!
But I personally feel that we should not comment on how he lives. If hes happy, why not?

So, you comment about someone's life, joking using exagerations, when you don't know anything about them, except that they EXAGERATELY level up, at a totally unusual pace.
Well, if the guy leveling isn't used to this crap, and doesn't notice their comments do not affect him in any way, he's just confirming his point: He's someone that hardly deals with people, and now that everyone does, since he's famous, he doesn't know how to react.
Well, all I can say is there's no problem with that... But learn a bit about human comunication. You'll be happier, considering the world is full of us.

Why don't we just congratulate him on his effort, huh?
On a more serious note: We really shouldn't say he has no life when I'd say 70% of us have been playing Maple since Beta/Official Release- go figure that 4 years is acttually better than 2 weeks. 4 years< 2 weeks.
Just saying.
Uncouthist Wrote:unusual? Isn't this happening everyday?
Unusual per definition means not common mmk. I'll back Alloy on that, because yea, most people take years hitting level 200. Most people focus on other stuff as well as maple. Most people would not share their accounts. Most people would not spend that kind of cash.
I think we can agree on the classification unusual on this guy, without judging if its good or bad.

Firstly, there are only 2 userS. With 1 helping when both of us couldn't make it (just 30mins-1hr each day). We DO SLEEP. We also got work / school. Our training time is from 8am to 12 midnight with full buffs.
Below are the details i posted on Asiasoft Forums becoz of ppl flaming and calling me hacker. DO GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!
2000 @cash would be 2000SGD for those wondering.
For leeching at anego/samurai, need a lvl 50 hitter with 35X accuracy.
For those that called me no life... Please refer to following quote

Really? I have always thought that hitting 200 in a couple of weeks is like lulwudeva these days.
One more note, if you think of him as someone who is just trying to hit the top rankings with more effort, Then I think his case is no longer unusual.
