Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread
I'll help you with Sky Tower on my Witch. If I remember correctly, you were at level 19 right? When you reach Vest, tell me because I already have Kings for it.
MasPan Wrote:Yea, I'll get to work on it soon. I may go into detail on how to fight each boss effectively as a low-level gunner as well.

Also, LOVING my Soul Bender so far. PvP is so much more fun on him, I don't have that constant pressure to run and gun. I love his zone control abilities, which will be even more noteworthy when I get Rasa and eventually Saya. I can do some noteworthy damage if someone is dumb enough to get hit with Ghost Slash inside a Kazan/Bremen combo. Ask Glitterboy

pineapple you Glitter
Later in PvP I raped up on some Priests Grapplers Witches and a Gunner.
Your class is BY FAR the hardest to kill for me.
So far.

Just wait til I have 4 ghosts, tons of invincibility frames, and a grab move that works from way the hell away from you (300 pixels).
Edit-
My Soul Bender is lv 21.
My Monk (Eden) is level 23. I'd be glad to do my Vestival quest with you guys.

What class are you? Usually to kill Launchers you just need to keep the pressure up and watch out for Windmill/Mach Kick. Rush them while their skills are cooled down.

He's not referring to my Launcher Tongue

Oh, I reread that and that seems pretty obvious now Rolleyes

Oddly enough, I don't have anything that stands out as "Oh, you're a Soul Bender" for him to be afraid of, other than my Ghosts. Kazan can be used by other Slayers (though they rarely will), though most will shy away from the skills, they'll still have them. Maybe he meant Slayers in general...

Not until 25 will I have anything overly unique.
I'm at grinding lvl on my bm, lvl 26. Just whisp Indignate.
Ew... I do not like being Gladiator rank. It's not fun losing exp and constantly going back to Vagabond 10... Why they do this to me? Now I actually have to worry about losing... Getting to Gladiator 2 is going to be very tough.

Slayers are evil, by the way.

230 W/186 L record...

Totally turns ya off of PvP, you know? I want to keep my pretty Yellow rank, but I'm not a consistent winner. I'm like usually 50% win/lose, until I come across an insane player (then it's like 70%+ lose) or a pushover (where it's like 80%+ win). That is okay when you don't LOSE EXP. ;_; Grrr.

I guess I'll put Lachrymose's PvP on hold for now. I should go back to my Battle Mage I put on ice almost a week ago already. Got her to 26 pretty quick (less than a week) then got caught up working on Lachy again.
How long do the nx stores last for? They seem like a pretty good investment if I want to get some money off of my drops.

A month. I'm thinking of getting one as well, running out of space from all these crappy purples/greens.
If anyone wants to party in Sky Tower(Vest, Golems, quests) I'll be on. I have to grind level 23 on my Grappler. No more quests. D: IGN FadedSanity
No token Vest Experts. Took about 30mins to get there without getting hit much.

How much pvp exp do you lose for losing in Gladiator? What kind of win rate would you have to have to sustain your Gladiator status?

You lose as much as you'd gain for winning. However, if you're right on the border between Vagabond 10/Gladiator 1, you will only lose enough to get you right back to V10 (like if you're 9xx away, you will only lose 9xx instead of 1000).

Sucks hardcore.
For the Dragonoid Nest quest, does Lorianne just stay in a random part of the dungeon? And does she attack/do I have to defend her?

Wow, that DOES suck. So you need to win over 50% just to stay in Gladiator. I think it'd be better if it started out low, like losing 10% of what a win is worth, and increased as you got higher ranks. If worse comes to worse, we SP'ers can give each other wins to get to Gladiator 2 for the quest.

Losing to someone of lower rank/level also harms your exp more than winning against them helps.

As for Lorianne, she's in the opposite direction of the boss (whichever side he's on, she's the other way). Simply break her cage and talk to her and you finished the quest.
Are the any level 40 quests other than the dark elves' remains quest and the pvp quest that give SP books?
