Quest Specialist Medal
#1
I made Heptagon around 4 years ago, but I deleted and remade it earlier this month (for the capitalised H). So, as you might think, I've barely have any completed quests on this character.

I have never been a quest person, and more of a training person but I thought it'd be neat to start questing a bit and get this medal.

I neglected all quests unless it's something I must complete, has a great prize, or is super convenient. Somehow, I managed about 220 quests (I did do that long Alcaster quest, Time Temple quests, and the Masteria quests).

Anyway, my question is how long it would take to get this Medal from my current situation?

This way, I can expect what horrors are still to come and bear through it all...

How long it takes completely depends on how dedicated you are to questing. I did about 350 quests (QS count) in a day on my 75 Dawn Warrior. The key is mass questing in certain areas and collecting items for multiple quests at the same time.

If you're dedicated, you shouldn't take more than a week and a half, tops.

It should be much easier if you have those new job quests done as well as all the maple island ones. Though it is still possible either way.

Thanks for the info.

My next question is how many quests can I avoid doing?

There's some quests, like collecting 1,500 Mateon Tentacle or 2,300 Cursed Dolls that I'd really prefer not to do...

What level are you? Depending on that, you might be able to skip those two, at the very least.

With the new bunch of quests they recently you should be able to skip those huge collect quests and still get it by level 70 or so.

Don't forget 500 Dual Pirate Propellers, 50 Lycanthrope Toenails, 200 Lazy Buffy Marbles, 1000 Toy Drums, and so many more! Glitter

Inorite. Quest Specialists should have a love for doing quests, however boring and annoying they are.

I know.... Once I get that Medal, I plan to forsake the rest of the quests.

Unfortunately, I'm more of a training player than a questing player.

In that case, why not just stick to your Master Adventurer Medal?

If only the two were the same.

Because I want that Medal, that's all. And also, I'd like to try some quests for once :o

Edit: I guess I should say sorry if I disrespected any Quest Lovers. I am in awe at how you guys can keep it up.

You'll definitely be scrounging around for quests to earn that blasted medal that instantly became dated with the new medals available. The worst part is you'll have to do some random quests to open the next chain in the quest tree, and it's hard to figure out which ones are dead-end quests, and which ones will open up 10 extra ones.
With that said, hopefully you will, or already have done all the quests for Alacaster, Magatia, Ariant, and Time Temple. At least you get something out of it, and a decent storyline, too.

I quickly did some Magatia quests, so I could get my Maple Explorer Medal. The Time Temple quests gave great experience and Crystals which helped with Alcaster's quests.

Some quests were enjoyable though Smile. I'd definitely love more quests that have high Experience rewards, such as Time Temple Quests and 4th Job Skill Quests.
