2x EXP Thanksgiving Weekend Event

Thanksgiving is a day of thanks but it’s also a day of fullness. You give thanks, then fill your belly with a stuffed turkey in a room filled with friends and family. In observance of this wonderfully satisfying tradition, MapleStory is having 2x EXP Thanksgiving Weekend Event! Satisfy not just your tummies but your need to have fun, and make a full four-day weekend out of it!



From November 26th to 29th (Thursday to Sunday), enjoy the 2x EXP goodness from 4 PM to 6 PM Pacific (7 PM to 9 PM Eastern).

I was hoping for something godly like the 12 hr event last year, but hey, 2x is still good old 2x. I'll be training my Outlaw all 4 days. Gotta get NX tomorrow for this + black friday sale..

Not that I care, they're ganna call me downstairs to get some food and say hi to relatives I rarely ever see. Then I'll be back up to get on my computer anyway, like every year.

Turkey Commandos will be invading the Maple World from 11/25/09 – 11/30/09. If you’re strong enough to defeat some Turkey Commandos you may receive a Turkey Commando’s Eye. Take these to Professor Foxwit in NLC and he’ll reward you with cold, hard meso

Hooray for more mobs that nobody likes being crapped onto places noobs travel through and mini-dungeons! Actually, I'm not certain on where they're gonna spawn, but I'm positive wherever they may spawn, it can't be a good thing.

Oh, what's this? A free 2x exp event out of nowhere, and to celebrate a holiday that was last month, gee are they ever late... lol [/joke]. Looks like another money-grabbing tactic from Nexon, but not that I disapprove, heh, faster leveling it is then.

They should just make these 2x events every weekend permanent. It sure looks as if they just skip 1 week/ month nowadays.

I'd rather they actually have 2x on the WEEKEND, when i have internet.
