#21
Wow. Makes me want to level my lv 92 Outlaw.

I imagine a full squad of Corsairs would take Zakum down in less than 2 minutes. lol

I think I'd like to organize one of those one day. Tongue

Way to go Alex, now all the fangirls will quit their LOL NLs and make LOLsairs. Which is fine by me since no one makes LOL MMs anyways.

Oh yes, Alex used speed hax or something.

Ps: next speed run should be 25 sairs and 5 SE mules.

The problem will be finding enough Corsairs...

I'd love to see a whole squad of lv 200 Corsairs take down Zakum.

I was thinking the same thing, that would be fun to watch.

Probably for some of the same reasons people don't often make BMs or MMs. Maybe it's like an acquired taste. :f6:.

I love playing my 'Slinger. I think it'll be wonderful when I get to 70, though.

I love Corsairs. That they're strong on the boat, that they attack entirely differently off the boat, that at any given time they have 5 options to kill monsters, and that they can freeze. The main reason I'm still playing it instead of my Bowmaster is just because of how much I enjoy the class. S'alright if you don't like it -- whatever floats your boat.

Its not an easy class to play. I guess most people just perfer to stand in one spot and press one button the entire boss runs like with Bowmasters and NLs. You get knocked back a lot with corsairs and need to watch for 1/1 from bosses. Basically you need to play with both yours hands when it comes to corsairs, whereas some of the other classes you can go full boss runs playing with 1 hand and even run 2 characters at the same time.

I noticed you have ginseng (40% pots) in your inventory, what do you use that for? I completely forgot there are different types of pots we can use for sairs lol. Instead of npcing all the 50% elixirs from pap, we can keep them to use at zak which does only 3.2k damage. I've been using ginger ale all this time and overpotting, which only damages ship more during 1/1.

SSSSSSEEEEEXXXXXYYYYYY this makes me want to move to windia and like duo Zak with you.....
i keep meaning to solo zak but cant bring myself to spend that much on apples>.> good to see that you can do it in under an hour, i pegged my solo time ~ an hour but i havent really been able to correctally judge this cause im a little lazy in Zak and dont avoid 1/1's and always kill summons(yay torp ohko) so ship ends up breaking liek 3 times on a standard 25 min Zakum 1 either during arms if im using the bump back-up tactic on the bottom 2 right arms (use magic attack to bounce you <---- way and use the bump damage from the arms to knock me back ----> and jump jump back and forth and spamming cannon, it allows for arms to be taken down a lot faster overall since your not dismounting and running back-> or using Rapid fire you prety much need sutopot for this tatic tho can litterally Tag an arm hold down your attack button and go to the bathroom quick Tongue

congratz on the ubertastic accomplishment I <3 you (in a heterosexual way of corse)

you don't HAVE to use both hands or dismount all the time, it does speed it up a little but if you work out the time it takes to dismount get hit remount and keep attacking i just say screw it and just stay on ship and keep spamming cannon regardless and havent been ksed @ a Zak yet.. so its working >.> a lot of people dont give Rapid Fire the respect it deserves, sure its not our MAIN attack but its sure as hell not weak, with leik a 10K range your still hitting like 17K's with it w/o SE with SE you can easily pop over 30 K's @ 8 hits per second.. thats nice Big Grin and i think it more than justifies staying on your ship and taking the damage while killing ship

Zak only tops out @ like 3.2K damage also so a Ginseng would work perfectally for him since hes rarely getting hit by 1/1 and we use a lot of mana over time ive been thiinking of switching to them very soon since i hit 64XX hp and i still use gingerales:S hmm maybe ill try my next run F3

SI > SE for sairs iirc

And no one likes sairs because at least in bellocan, people still think they're weak and NLs 40 levels lower than them can outdamage them -__-

Whatever, less sairs the better. Less competition and etc

Yah I think I just need to stop over potting. My other characters pet auto pot is almost always around 70% hp so when I get on corsair it stays on that same setting and keep potting full after second hit. Then it takes a huge damage from 1/1. Maybe 50% elixirs are the best option for bossing for people between 6.4-8k hp.

Anyone know if the pets still have problem potting after 1/1 if they use 2 different potions for hp and mp? I havn't used different pots for hp and mp for a very long time, just been lazy and using ginger ale for both.

Except archers aren't dead weight like buccs so they benefit the run more.

Nope, SE is better, albeit only by a little with Cannon. It's a lot better with Rapid Fire though, especially since Rapid Fire isn't affected by SI at all.

Ginsing are the pots that I use whenever autopot fails. If I need MP or just a little more HP, ginsing are there to help. I don't generally put them on my autopot. My autopot was Honsters (set at about 50% HP) and Sorcerer Elixers (set at about 10% MP). It works just fine using two different pots during 1/1.

Both SE and SI are lol who cares buffs for Corsairs. Being buffed with MW30 makes a bigger difference on your damage than both of those combined.

I like the arm route. Arm 1 is definitely the easiest for Corsairs to take down at the beginning of the fight, so I always focus my attention on that one when I fight it with a group. I hate being on the right side.

Seems like classes that take even an ounce of skill are always underrepresented in MS. That's why everyone flocks to NLs and Heroes and Bishops.

I'm not a lazy ass that can't apply skills to a game, I just don't like them, And saying that someone doesn't have the skill for a game like ms is weird, I bet everyone can have a 'almost perfect' control on any char with a lil bit of practice, knowing where the keys are.

Phoenix Wrote:That is defintely one of the fastest solos I've seen. The only 2 faster I can actually think of is a 19x BM and one from a 19x Hero with a perfect lunchbox.

Guess it goes to show how a sairs dps translates when applied to the actual game. Still rocking.

19x captain in windia does it in like 35, so he told me. I have no solid proof.
But he does have 20 levels on alex, so it's dumb to compare.
