I have a strong feeling that us Corsairs will get another gun-wielder in the pirate family xD. Have you noticed the patterns of the weapon the newer classes use? i.e. warrior have Paladins, Heroes, and DrKs right? They have a sword wielder cygnus which is the Dawn Warrior. The Aran class is a polearm user (DrK), which doesn't neglect the Paladin component of ice either. The Evan (sp?) is a mage class that uses all the elements. There is already a Thunder Breaker, user of knuckles. So to balance it out there has to be a Gunner-Hero class? This is all speculation though. It could go either way right now. I saw the picture they released with the Hero classes fighting a boss (could someone post it please) and the pirate hero was too dark to tell if he uses a gun or a knuckle.

The Pirate "Hero" Class is Probably a Gun-user

Dark or not, the difference between a round nuckle and pointy gun is hard to mistake. Based on that image, I'd say they used knuckles.

Totally balanced right? You actually want MORE people to use your weapons and scrolls possibly increasing the prices?

well there is a 50% chance it will use guns.

Gun 30% for 4-5m isn't really high if you look at the other classes' 30% weapon prices lol.

I think you guys are looking too mcuh into that image. There's no character in that image that represents Evan, or any dragon for that matter. It's most likely just an image of Aran running into battle with some comrades, they don't have to be the 5 other heroes. If they were we'd end up with 2 warrior legends, perhaps a 3rd if that other guy is using a spear and not a staff.

Technologically, I doubt guns were around back then, but I guess they could twist the storyline so that they used like slingshots in the past then picked up a gun in the present. Yeah, I know maple makes no sense.

I'm looking forward to the Dagger and Crossbow Heroes much more. I would really like to see Crossbows re-imagined in this game. Besides, I think it'd be hard to top the raw power of Battleship, unless they don't mind making a broken class.

Sleepy Wrote:-Points at aran, and thunder breakers-This is the reason I don't like leaving people to look at my data and draw their own conclusions. Under every single circumstance except for one (SE at Tengu), this is entirely false. DPS doesn't matter *at all* unless it's on a target with lots of HP, and almost all of said targets are over level 120, so the Striker would get a level penalty. Since there are only 4 bosses in our version (two of which have less than 8 mil HP) that are weak to lightning, this is just plain not possible. Don't get me wrong, Strikers are a *great* class, and they can probably overpower any Bucc at level 150 in just about any training or bossing situation except HT (where neither of them could survive anyway), but to outright say that a level 200 is as strong as a 120 is just absurd.
