I think that person said 44~48 mp at a certain level (something close to level 30). I'm pretty sure the person saw that from the videos he watched over few level ups. So that means that 44~48 already has the 'k' included, i don't think the base mp increase is 44~48.

That's a very good point, but it actually makes it better. At that level, they're prolly only gaining a few mp or so due to INT. So the adventurer/KoC and Evan hp/mp formulas are pretty much exact more or less, not one-sided kind of how aran is compared to warriors.

Don't forget, every 10 points in INT = 1 MP. That means they won't be THAT affected by level 30-ish

we use AM's all the time for body fight. people dont realize how much damage they can actually give out on the body.

Do you guys use apples at HT anymore? We stopped a while ago. And since we did, I bet an I/L could do some pretty decent damage with CL. Efreet and the ice one do a fair amount of damage as well.

While my stance on Evan remains unchanged, I just wanted to back up Typhoon's comment here:

If ArchMages are allowed to ultimate spam once the legs and tail are both down, they hit the remainder of the body parts with every cast. If an ArchMage can consistently hit over 100k damage per part per hit, that's a shit ton of damage dealt over the course of the, say, 5-10 min it takes to take down wings. Or the next 5-10 min required to take down right arm.

Case in point: I've been on a few runs where I did so much damage ultimate spamming during the majority of the main body fight that I was asked to finish off the left arm. To further prove the point of damage dealt, this is how much EXP I got on 1x on one of those runs:



Note the time too. This wasn't a slow run by any means for Khaini, yet that was still the EXP earned.

Again, I support ArchMages, especially working to prove their bossing capabilities, but Evan simply dominates AMs at bosses for a plethora of reasons to the point where common sense should dictate their incorporation into runs.

While i do support khainis only lv 200 F/P in this thought that evans > AMs at bossing, don't you think it's a little bit too early to determine that? It looks like that shadow attack will be the strongest move, but what if it's slow as hell like demolition?

Though fog "spam" at HT will be really sexy too...

One thing I'm curious about; If you have maxed Magic mastery, but you don't have a maxed skill (and as a result it's mastery is lower than 60%) would the Magic Mastery simply add 30% mastery and 15 basic attack to the skill, or would it just not take effect until the skill reaches 60% mastery? Or, another possibility, would mastery become 90% for all skills, regardless of their individual level of mastery?

KMS just likes adding crits and 90% mastery to everthing new now D:

I believe it would be a plus 30% mastery, if they don't program it for failure.

Another thing I want to know about is that dragon fury skill. At max, is it +110% or +10% basic attack?

About as much as the first classes, Cygnus and Aran.

Yeah, I figured that after going to General Maplestory and reading the thread about Evan's story there. This job actually looks like it's worth trying.

evan definitely deals more damage than archmages but it also has much lesser hp... IMO, damage is directly improportional to hp for jobs in maple.

How do they have less HP? Normal mages get 10~14. Someone said Evan get 12~13 (It's prolly 10~14). So using that assumption, they get the same.

I think i better rephrase what i typed. I meant to say that the amount of damage evan can tank is much lesser than normal mages due to the difference in magic guard (evan 70% while mage 80%).

It's still almost twice as much as a ranged class. Ranged classes have more than enough HP to do whatever.

also youre asked to kill because you have 2x drop and for it to work you have to solo the last part of HT

I think Evan is ok, but ill stay with aran. Cant wait for more info tho.
